+3 average quality small critter skins added to inventory
"Sure can," he says, already constructing a spit to cook the animals on. "Bet you'll be hungry after going out trapping for the first time. It does take a while of getting used to."
Crimson jumps onto your lap and curls up, her little ears flicking at the air.
"Thank you,'' Asteria says as she pets Crimson's head.
(I'm only messing with you. I've not been mean... yet)
There is no clear view of the time judging from the sky. The leaves of the trees are still enough in number to make it too hard to tell.
Brazentalon hops over to you, wanting to get out of the clearing as quickly as possible.
You both adventure through the forest for a good time more until you notice a distinctly shady patch under a few trees. Something colourful catches your eye by the trailing roots of a tree.
"Now that looks like it could be a borealis mushroom if I do say so myself," Brazentalon says, peering into the gloom.
(Whiterosealliance is intimidated!
Its attack goes down!)
I walk to his side and crouch down to see what was under the roots. If it fits the description of a borealis mushroom, I try to reach out and take it carefully.

Knight tosses his head. "Neither."
You carry on. By midday you're trailing behind, each footstep harder than the last. Knight glances back from time to time, slowing for a few seconds to let you catch up.
A group of goblins comes down the road in your direction, each of them in a jovial mood. They become more quiet as they pass you, eyes staring and grins on their faces. You speed up as best you can and Knight keeps pace, and eventually when you look back you can suddenly no longer see them.
Your pack is heavy and cuts into your shoulders. Walking would be a lot easier without it. You could stick it in the back of the cart and Balthur would be none the wiser to your stolen goods.

He does that. Not like he's gona leave it anytime soon anyways. Hopefully he doens't lose the cart though-that would be bad.

"You know, I've been wandering around in the wilderness for a long time," he says, a nostalgic look in his eyes as he turns the spit. "Seen a lot of things. Been through all sorts of weather and faced all sorts of beasts you couldn't even imagine of. Well, maybe I'm wrong! You seem like a natural at surviving out in the wilds."

(xD)
A plump fungi is cradled by the roots of the tree. Its top shines in all sorts of green hues in the dark in streaks that shift and move across its surface. Seems like the thing your after, for sure.
You gently pluck it from the ground. As soon as you do, the colours on its surface dim slightly. Besides that there is no change.
"I don't think we could help doing that," Brazentalon says, grimacing.

"I can image the beasts," Asteria says with a far off look, "I traveled with my friends when I was first... oh never mind it would probally bore you."

"Yeah, hope the dwarf doesn't mind..." I say with a frown. I put the mushroom in my pack and make sure that the items are arranged in a way so that nothing will smush or cut the precious mushroom. I search the general area for any more mushrooms and taking them out gently if they are any. If there isn't anything of interest, I continue to go through the forest and marking them trees.
The yeti looks at you before surprising you with a nod. It carries on scrubbing at its matter fur.
You didn't see any obvious caves or shelters the way you came from, so perhaps going downriver would be the best idea. You trot along, sticking to the river and assessing the formations you come across.
After a while as you feel the air getting distinctly nippier you see a dark spot in the hill. On closer inspection you see that the grass grows slightly over a hole in the rise. You can't see how far back it goes, but it looks dry.
Delirious trots quickly over towards the hole in the ground, hopeful that it will be a place that she can stay for the night.

Now it is much easier to keep up with the cart.
The sun is beginning to set already, the chillsky days short and the nights cold and long. The freezing air does nothing to help your hunger or how tired you are.
Fog begins to gather on the ground, getting thicker as time goes on. Balthur has lit lanterns on the sides of the cart so you can still clearly see it, and he whistles a tune.
