Kimberly covered herself with the blanket and shook when she heard the thunder and the flash of lightning. She motioned for him to climb into the closet with her. "Its s-safe in he-here." She stammered and made room for him. She wondered why she was so scared of storms. Maybe its because threre was nothing she could do to stop it.

Dimitri smiled and than put his finger up to his lips in a thoughtful way. "Do you want to change your name? You could if you wanted to." He said wondering if she would change her name what it would be. She seemed different than normal girls so it was probably going to be something ridiculous

Elaina pulled Alison up the rest of the way and let the girl lean on her. "Its okay, I got you." She said and took a small step towards the door. She didnt want to go to fast because she didnt want to chance the girl falling. She didnt know if she could get the girl up if she fell.

Rose smiled and looked around again. "Why did you choose such a smelly, dirty place?" She asked wondering if it was because no other human being would want to come down here. She wouldn't blame anyone if they didn't want to come down here. This place was smelly and wrecked.

Chris went in the closet after her. "Why are you afraid of storms?" He asked quietly. He didn't want to upset her or anything. He was just curious. "I, sorry." He said. She didn't have to tell him if she didn't want to. He touched her and tried to find her hand to hold.

"Like what?" I can't think of any good names." She said. "Daisy...bleh! Zoey is okay, but still. Chrisy... I'm just not good with names." She said, shaking her head. "Even thought of Jolina! Worst one." She smiled. "You better have better ideas than I do!" She said teasing, in a way.

"Th-thanks. There." She said, pointing to the open door. "That's the room I was talking about." She explained. She was excited, in a way. She was on her feet...in a way. She was going to remember this for a long time...

Kimberly took his hand and smiled. She reached for the doors and closed it so they were lost from the outside world. "I'm scared because there is nothing I can do to stop it." She said and wiped away tears with her free hand. She wasn't scared to explain her feelings and she was glad there was someone to talk to. She could hear the thunder and she jumped every time.

Dimitri smiled and looked at her with an eyebrow raised. "How about Cassie? Its a pretty name." He said and liked the way it sounded. Cass-C was the way it was the way it was pronounced and it fit her pretty well.

Taking small steps Elaina guided her to the door. She wanted to be careful but she also was excited. She hadn't slept in a room let alone a bed in a while. It was something to be excited about when you come across. She didn't like to break into peoples houses because it just felt wrong. If she didn't have any manners than who would.

Chris laughed a bit. He quickly stopped himself. He didn't laugh because she was afraid, he laughed because he had his own fear. "I'm afraid of," yes, he was going to admit it. "Cheese." He said, finally. "I'm afraid of cheese!" He said. "Also known as turophobia." He said. Yes, it was silly to be afraid of cheese. But he was.

"I guess so. Cassie sounds nice." She said, thinking for a moment. "Yes! Cassie. I'm Cassie. Not Noa." She decided. Cassie. She was Cassie. Not Noa. "Call me Cassie." She declared. She was no longer Noa.

"Hey, you know, you're good company." Alison said. "Most people ignore people like me." She explained. Well, most people didn't really know her that much. So she guessed it wasn't their fault. She never went outside much, anyways.

Kimberly tried to hold back a laugh because laughing would be rude but she couldn't help it. Her laugh started out small at first but than was loud enough to echo through the house. "Your scared of cheese!" She said and just for the moment all her pain and fear was gone and replaced by joy and laughter...

Dimitri stood up and stretched a little. He was tired of sitting and wasting his life. "So Cassie." He said and smiled at her new found name. "You wanna go do something. The world is over so there is no rules. We should go vandalize things and spray paint stuff." He said pointing to a book bag sitting in the corner. It was his own personal collection of paints in a canister. (Aka... Spray paint)

Elaina smiled and opened the door to the bedroom. It was amazing and whoever lived in this house had good taste in picking things out for there room. "Yeah, well I try not to be like other people. If you lose your humanity than what really do you have left?" She said and slowly walked into the room while still supporting Alison.

"Yup. Scared of ol' lil' cheese!" He said, laughing. He didn't know why cheese was scary to him. He was just afraid of cheese. "Surprising, right?" He said, smiling, though he doubted she could see him smiling in the dark. "You're the only one I've ever told." He admitted. "Weird fear, isn't it?"

Noa- Cassie's eyes sparkled mischievously. "Sure. Why not?" She laughed. She kept repeating something in her mind. I'm Cassie, I'm Cassie, not Noa. Cassie. I'm Cassie... "As long as we don't get caught." She said, shivering a bit as she said that. They'd probably do something bad to them.

"Got a point." Alison admitted. Another reason people didn't come was because she kind of 'scared' them away with small explosions. They were small, but they were extremely loud. Sometimes, she visited a lab about 30 miles away from here, though she rarely did since it was a pain to get there. But when she got there, she'd go crazy with explosions, which no one minded since the lab was soundproof and 15 miles from other houses where people lived.

Blondina turned back to Ashur and said slowly, "Well that didn't go to well." Shur laughed and scolded her, saying, "He had a point. You did stick a knife at his throat." Pointing at the blood on the knife, Blondina held the knife away from her clothes and sighed. "Better go wash this off." she said. Ashur followed her into the kitchen and waited, chips back in hand, while she washed all the blood off of her knife. "Don't like blood eh?" He chuckled. Grimacing, Blondina said, "Haha, I'm pretty sure you have some weakness too. I'll just have to figure that out. One is that you can't crack safe codes." She said, laughing while finishing her cookie from earlier. "Well, I'm going to go catch some more Zs. I'm sleepy. You woke me up from my nap." Yawning to prove her point, she trudged to the stairs and stopped. "I'll be right back though Ashur with a weapon, don't misuse it. It's for guarding me and the house all right?" Stomping upstairs, Blondina entered her room and pushed in the safe codes to the safe behind her picture, taking out the sword. Walking back downstairs, she handed Ashur the sword and said, "Behave yourself with that. It's a dangerous weapon." She trudged back upstairs and promptly fell on to the bed, exhausted, without changing, dagger still in hand.

Finn laughed. " I told you! The smell is only hinted at my home...and... " he sighed. " This palace has no other living been so it's quite easy to get privacy and not worry about people stealing my supplies... "
He was angry at how the world had just been suddenly changed...what started this bloody war again?

Kimberly smiled and scooted a little closer when she heard then thunder. "Yeah, its pretty weird." She said hearing her voice waver a little. She did find being scared of cheese weird. It wasn't normal and plus it was just cheese. Eat it and move on. It doesn't have a mouth and it can't hurt you.. Unless your lactose intolerant. "Do you think I'm weak because I'm scared of Thunderstorms?" She asked quietly. She didn't know why most people weren't. It was one of the most scariest things in the world.

Dimitri laughed and picked up the book bag. "I doubt anyone will be around to catch us." He said and than looked at the stairs were his brother ran to. "Hey I'll be right back." He said while slipping on the book bag. He took off up the stairs climbing them two at a time, he opened Scotts bedroom door and walked in. "Brother, were going painting. Do you wanna come?" Dimitri asked hopeful. Scott looked up from the bed and smiled. "Sure." He said and stood up. He didn't want to go, but he could see how much his brother wanted him to. Dimitri walked away and listened while his brother followed. They walked down the stairs together and he smiled. "Two"s a group, three's a party." He said and laughed.

Elaina sat the girl on the bed and sat down next to her. "You seem like a good person to." She said and finally made up her mind. She didn't know why people didn't want to hang out with this girl besides the fact that pretty much everyone is dead. Sh couldn't help but not smile. She loved talking to people even if she had a huge chance of dying.
