Fai, Krin, or anybody else...when a Nixi has both Pearl Armor and Glowlight Wings, where on the head are those little antennae supposed to be attached?

It kind of looks like maybe they are attached behind the skullcap, but it also kind of looks like the antennae magically pass straight through the skullcap and attach to the head under the cap (which most likely would actually be a layering problem). Take a look (borrows one of MourningLily's vixens)--


Actually, her left antennae almost seems to be growing out of her left ear . . . ?

PS I very much like the way Nixi wings no longer seem to attach to the Pearl Armor when the Nixi has both traits.

Yea. We're aware of the antennae issue and will try to figure out a solution as soon as we can (us and artists are super busy atm lol). It isn't going to be an easy fix though b/c if it's above, or below, it will cause issues one way or the other. So we'll have to figure out some other solution.

Just wondering, why do you do revamps? Do you one day wake up and say "I don't like that art." ? I just am wondering that's all. Not mad. Just curious.

To improve their quality of artwork, to better match our current Site style, and to reorganize Traits to improve our ability of easily implementing newer Traits.

The revamps thus far have been of our original Starter Pets which were created by an entirely different artist than we use now.

We're also able to do a lot more with the actual artwork files itself than we used to which allows us to make things even more detailed. So revamping them allows us to use updated artwork as well.

May I make a suggestion? Have the antennae sprout from the middle of the two little dots above the Nixi's eyebrows. (Borrows MourningLily's patient vixen again.)

It's more of a layering issue than a location issue. Comet Moth antennae and Glowlight antennae share the same "layer". Additionally, everything (but female Ball Mask) on the head loads in the same layer.

With, for example, Steampunk Outfit, we want the goggles to be "on top" of the antennae. However, with say, Pearl Armor, that layering causes issues and we would actually want the opposite.

But just simply moving it from one layer to another isn't an easy thing to do and also can easily cause other issues.

So we'll just have to figure out if some artwork needs to be adjusted or if we have to just write some specific conditionals.
