What's wrong?

Did you copy the image link? Just right click/alt-click the image and do copy image address or whatever it says. And when you're typing your post, click the button that says 'IMG' and paste the link between the tags it inserts into the text box.

Here's my lucky St. Patrick's Day Qitari - Ireland's Good News Messenger

This is inspired by St. Patrick's work spreading the Gospel in Ireland.

I chose a Qitari because horses were used to quickly send messages before the modern era and because the Qitari species looks inspired by the Qilin whose sightings heralded ages of good fortune.

This messenger has peacock feathers because peafowls are a traditional Catholic symbol of eternal life, with the blue representing baptism. She has red lucky runes on white inspired by St. Patrick's Flag:

The green scales and gold feathers have multiple levels of symbolism. First, scales for snakes and feathers for birds because gospel messengers were instructed to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. Secondly, the gold feathers represent treasure in heaven and the green scales represent new life. Finally they are also reminiscent of the lucky pots of gold and shamrocks associated with St. Patrick and his day. :)

Kiss of Clover

Kiss of Clover was inspired by my favorite lucky charm: the four leaf clover! ^D^ (Clovers are a no less than moderate obsession of mine... ^w^ ) And his color palette was taken from my favorite St. Patrick's Day colors. ^D^ Entire lush green clover fields on white cliff faces with just a glittering touch of gold to bring everything together without being too greedy. ;3 -Not that there's anything wrong with entire pots o' gold! ^D^

My inspiration is St. Patrick's Day Feast. It is traditionaly cornbeef and cabbage (yum) but it is also really good with carrots and potatoes. The drink might be ale (beer).

The two shades of green are cabbage. The red-brown and pinkish stripes are the cornbeef as cornbeef is that color with fat. The wings are the ale. The kelp is the carrots and the mane or what ever that blob on the neck is, is a red potato.

Lol. Its kinda weird to think I will be eating this tonight.

My inspiration is the pot of gold hidden amongst the field of clover that one finds at the end of the rainbow.
