That's interesting, Mohya. So many people who like Kelparies seem to agree that the redraw did not do the Bubbles trait any favors. I don't like them any more. What do you think is the problem with Bubbles now? I know what I think it is, but I would like to know what you and others think.

Re swapping for your Pearl Armored Unicorn, I definitely need another boy. Right now, Alexis is my only colt, and he's feeling a little intimidated. I can't swap him. However, I could trade First Lady for him, as I have other Lotuses who have her traits--

My problem with bubbles is that they cling too much to the body. I guess that's more realistic, but I liked it better, when they were floating more freely.

I ended up playing around seeing if I could figure out a design with the bubbles and I kinda like what I did below. I do like in general the bubbles floating around the kelparies. I think they look really nice. I think what turns me away from using the trait more often is the bubbles that make up a "mane". It's kinda sparse looking? Also, the bubbles around the ear fin of the female in particular look kinda funny. I do like the hoof bubbles though! I know not every trait is going to be for every person and there's probably those out there who really love this trait. But those are my personal reasons for not liking the mutation more.

The issue I have with bubbles is that not only is it too close to the face (especially on the female), but they look more like gooy blobs than bubbles to me. It can be okay, but I find most designs look better without them or with something else instead.

As for lotus kelp, I didn't manage to get a single one. Judging how bad my other plant pets hatched however, that might not have been so bad. I think the game is telling me to stick with designing my own pets and leave the themed ones to others. :-P

I'm still slowly working on getting all my regen kelp organized. I have way too many. I did manage to get my pb SC kelps all organized and the extras are up for sale. Now I just need to figure out what I want to do with my PS pb. Most of those are related so that really cuts back on the options.

I waited a while to let other people buy Elise's very generously priced tagged, but ya'll left me an opening; I bought all 5 Summer Shimmers. I'm gonna gamble and lesser mutate them. So far two were duds (and I would be more than willing to give these to anyone here: lady seahorse, guy seahorse) BUT I did get super lucky and got visible Nebula! One of my favorite traits. :3

I'm thinking I'll save the remaining two for greater mutating future traits, because I really like this theme and don't want two more duds. I also greater mutated this boy, I meant to do Long Flowing Mane, but I misclicked. D:

I do like Luminous Mane though, so I am only 3% upset about it. If anyone wants her (Elise) remaining Zombified or Daisy Kelpari, now is the time to save them from me and my gambling lesser mutating hands. (Which is why I bothered everyone with a ping, I figured some people may prefer I not do such a thing :p) Also, you know, those two free tagged Summer Shimmers.
edit: Oh yeah, and this guy has Deep Sea Runes now.

Faeyla: If you need breeding for you project. I have Sunset Kelps with Nebula, Deep Sea Runes and Luminous Fins.
Also: You project idea is super pretty!
