That's gorgeous! I've actually been meaning to ask for a while what was decided with using dyes to the new version. Is it just offspring that have been dyed? I don't know if I have it in me to actually put a dye tag on an original. I've been meaning to look again more at my original non-tags but the lupes stressed me with their color changes and then the vorpas I was wrong about one of the color shifts and I need to work further on correcting it. It just got me worn out feeling so I had to step back for a bit.

Well, with the offspring they were all colour-regenable, so none of them have been dyed, just colour-corrected. I think there was talk of gently bombarding Krin with requests to fix the colours of the tamed ones too? I definitely don't want to have to dye them all. That would make me feel sad and icky.

If I breed the current non-dyed originals, are the offspring then still able to have their colors regennable? Or did I miss the bus on that one? So basically I don't have to worry right now about the originals at all? Except for possibly mutating them?

Mika is right, I think. In particular, there are really nifty traits we can only get by Mutating our few Tamed Clear Skies, but there's no use in doing so if they don't have the proper Clear Sky colors.

In addition to being something that just feels like a bad idea, dyeing all of the Tamed Clear Skies would be exceedingly expensive!

So do you think I should just do nothing but sit on the originals for now?

But, no, breeding them now won't allow new offspring to have their colours corrected, sadly. I think we're just stuck until we can (gently) bombard Krin with requests to fix this poor pretagged theme to the new official colours.

I think we should all hold off on doing anything with the Tamed just yet, and we should all politely point out these things to Krin.

Has there been any indication that he will? I know he wasn't going to do anything about them having tags even though I'm pretty sure we've figured out all the pre-tags. Honestly, even if there were a couple that weren't really pre-tags that snuck in I'm not sure at this point if I mind. It'd make things a lot easier. They'd most likely be on dead accounts anyway.

I think I'll have to eventually look into purchasing whichever ones you're all working with now.
