Zuni ran up and hugged him, happy to see he wasn't on his travels, "Papa! Did you pick up Choula any exotic eggs?"

"Not this time. Sorry kids!" Okelousa said with a laugh and pulled something out of his pocket. "I brought you something else though. These whistles imitate birdsong."

"Oh" Zuni took one and sat down, looking at it carefully, "Choula" he called, before trying to blow on one. It make a strange rasping sound and he looked up at his father questionably at how to go it, hair going over his eyes slightly.

Choula eagerly accepted her whistle and, after a brief moment to admire the simple yet elegant design, she attempted to create the desired sound. To no avail. It squeaked.

Okelousa smiled at his children. "Zuni, try to blow sharper. And Choula, blow softer. It may take some time and practice to find the correct way to blow. Focus on where you push the air from and how fast it is."

Zuni nodded and took the pocketed the whistle, "Choula is almost the best archer around! Have you seen mama?" he asked quickly, "She wasn't in the house."

His eyes darkened. "She was at the Shaman's hut. I'm not sure if she will make it to dinner. But what is this about my little archeress? Are you half as good as Zuni claims?"

(Can you be Hopi? It's a bit difficult being all these characters at once, especially as I didn't make them. Maybe we should bring some other folks in to control certain characters when they show up? That would actually make for an interesting rp style.)

Choula grinned, "Nope! But I will be! Even better than mom."

Zuni smiled and rubbed his little sisters hair, taking her and his fathers hands, "Lets go closer to the fire then!" he said happily
