It's a relief when no one trails you. At least not yet. Probably a good time to decide on where you're going and head there fast before anyone else sees you.

She barks, and for some reason you know she wants the name 'Crimson'. Her fur is mostly red after all. But the sensation of understanding her bark is unsettling.
She puts her head to the ground, sniffing, and pads along the road. Looks like she's caught a scent. Whether its something you're hunting or the Pegasus foal, you cannot tell. But you know that you're going to have to help your new Familiar, because she's too young to do things entirely on her own.

"Alright Crimson lead the way and I'll follow," Carrying the scroll I follow Crimson.

After a few minutes, you see something on the road ahead. Crimson barks and runs up to it, you close behind. On further inspection it seems to be a Critter. They're all over the place, but aren't deemed to be either Higher creatures or Wild creatures. Mostly just as food. This one appears to be roadkill. Fresh by the looks of it.
Crimson isn't being fussy, and is barely restraining herself from devouring it. Instead she waits to see your reaction - if it's all hers, or if it isn't good to eat.

I check the roadkill to make sure it is safe for her to eat.

It doesn't look like it has any flies around it, and when you hesitantly poke the Critter it still seems to be a little warm. It must have been Verambrant's cart that knocked it down, so that was probably only a few minutes ago. Plus it doesn't smell bad... so it should be fine.

Wherever the nearest road out of this place is. He's not picky. Anywhere is fine.

"All yours Crimson," I say after checking the creature. After that I look around for the foal.
