Okay, I will be entirely honest with everyone here today: I didn't particularly care for the whole ~RoS~ shtick before. However, my recent auctions have changed my mind completely.
That said! I now believe it needs to be done.
Why did I change my mind? Well, I'll tell you why. Because so many people are pricing their pets so low, you can't sell anything -be it pets or items- for what they're actually worth.
Now, this is stuff you guys and gals have been preaching for quite a while. Why didn't I care then? Because I wasn't on regularly enough to be affected by this problem. Now I have the free time to be on here and I'm having trouble doing what I used to when I first created my account. That is, breed and sell beautiful pets (nixies mostly). (I know, I know, some of you have quite a bit of contempt for that, but please know I didn't breed my pets willy-nilly. I only ever bred them when I thought the market was good. I severely overestimated the market this time.)
My past couple auctions have left me immensely frustrated. Even certain themed pets, which are supposed to be exclusive and therefore expensive can be bought for what feels like pocket change on this site. My 5-6vis nixies that I used to be able to sell for 15kg minimum? You can find similar vis nixies on the search for as little as 50g. Literal pocket change.
What frustrates me even more? The majority of these pets look like they've been puked out, but people will still buy them because they're convenient. Even if the pet has the ugliest color scheme they've ever seen, they'd still rather buy the ugly one because it's cheaper and they don't have to work as hard or communicate with someone to get it. This slays me.

Thoughts on overflow/underpricing
While I suppose low prices are nice for buyers, I feel like pricing things so low takes some of the fun out of the game, and I don't like the trade broker much because I feel like I sometimes work hard to get things and feel great about myself, only to realize you can just buy it cheap from someone else, as it takes away the challenge. Even cheap 6-vis pets bother me, like it isn't that easy to breed them and if they're just worth a few hundred gold, there goes the fun and sense of accomplishment that get from overcoming a challenge or doing something that should be worth more than people are selling it for. Like jeez, these are worth something, my effort is worth something, where is your dignity? Okay, I'm done ranting, but I don't know if that is the reason other people are complaining.
