When they are in your inventory, click on them to highlight in green, then below the grid is a "Use Item" button. Click on that, they will disappear, but show up in the fest shop on the bottom. Message me if you have any more questions Raera.

If I melt a majestic essence, I can't use that to buy fabled or regular essences can I?

As far as I know it only goes up, IE you can trade regular melted essences for higher if you have enough.

However, you can probably sell the essence, melted or not, for more than regular essences go for. So you can sell it, and buy several regular essences (or melted essences) etc..

If you swing by region chat, or the forums, you might be able to trade your majestic essence for whatever essences you wanted to buy from the shop.

No, there is no way to downgrade them.

I already melted one, to test it. So I may just melt a couple more and buy the one I want.

Hi Krin, is it just me or are there less jewel and glitter drops than usual this fest? I run through the zone at least twice a day and I've only found a dozen of each so far...that seems a bit low compared to past experiences. (A good portion of my findings came from the winter wonderland.)
The broker prices also reflect this shortage. Prices are at 20-50k per item while fairy dusts are only 15-20k

Was this on purpose and if so, does the drop rate really need to be this low to accomplish that purpose?

Can we please stop getting frosty fairy dust from the Winter Wonderland? I get so much from the zone, I've already gotten enough to max boost 3 pets. Really would like better chances at frosty essences instead. :/

With the changes to Festival Currency Tokens where they are no longer reimbursed, I made additional changes to try and promote their demand so that they are sufficiently used and hold value throughout a festival. Part of this was to try and direct players more into spending the Tokens in the Festival Shop/other features.

And in order for that to work, I had to change how frequently the supplies dropped in other places. So the growing customization supplies don't really drop anymore and were replaced w/ higher token drops and it's expected for players to mostly buy those from the shop now as needed.

It's all just a very delicate balance that I'm still trying to figure out. =\

Especially with the Haunted House and Winter Wonderland features; as those features have an exact amount of prizes pre-determined on the map. So changing one item's drop rate immediately and somewhat dramatically affects everything else as something else has to fill that gap.

The change to the Festival Currency Tokens had a very large impact on how to structure all of these features. I am definitely still trying to learn from player behavior and adjust everything accordingly. It will be an ongoing process for many festivals.
