I like them! Very owl-like and much more detailed than before. I only have a few of these pets in my barns, but I cant wait to see what the colors look like. Great work!

I see other people are mentioning the "pinecone" in the tail xD I do still see it. I'm wondering if you shade the center feathers with the brown like you did with all the other wing/tail feathers, it should help? It is weird to me that those are the only feathers that aren't tipped like the others. I did a very quick mock up here, to show my suggestion:



I think it helps break up the recognizable shape and is more in line with the other wing/tail feathers.

Also, I just noticed the male and female wings are shaded/color blocked differently? The female has a nice gray-blue-brown gradient. In the male's 2nd and 3rd row of wing feathers, the blue is missing or inconsistent, so there isn't much gradient. I think the brown tipping is too much on those rows of feathers in the male, which is leaving no room for the blue gradient. The tail feathers seem to be missing the blue gradient as well, this might further help the issue above?

Looking further, a lot of the feather tipping is inconsistent. The females back legs need more brown tipping on the feathers. In the male back leg, the first row of feathers gets lost because it doesn't have tipping. On the male tail between the wing and back leg, it needs a little tipping on the fluff, to match the female's tail.

The male's arm/shoulder line needs a couple feather fluffs to break up the solid line (like the female has).

I really hope this all makes sense, I am not a digital artist so I don't know the correct terms. Thanks!

The changes to the eyes make all the difference. I'm obsessed. I also love how the feathers are less uniform now, they look fluffier and less stiff than before and I'm all for it. The pinecone tail is also growing on me so I'm ecstatic for these new changes to be implemented!

I also would like to note the shading on the male's wings. The first couple of rows have way more brown on them than the female, and the blue-gray is almost missing. I prefer the female with the nicely blended and even colors. Its the same with the tail, the female tail is a lot darker with less brown on the tips and more yellow and gray where the male has almost no gray and it shades from yellow straight to a light brown.

These are absolutely lovely and I would love to have my stables full of them! I am not an artist and I am pretty sure my Kindergartner can draw better than me, so I am not one to critique every little thing. I just really enjoy what I see and appreciate the art and all of the effort put in!

I also look forward to Faelora as well since they are a favorite of mine!

I will only say, that like always, I will be happy with whatever the end result is. I love the idea of the species and am not obsessed with perfection. If anymore changes were to be made, I would say to go with Scath's. They bring the species to a new height and make them absolutely perfect. ^-^
