We have just been busy with various real life and game things. The avatar thing takes me longer to go through because I like to actually read all the entries...rather than just ignore them and pick out the avatars. A lot of users put a lot of thought and effort into their little stories, so the least I can do is appreciate their effort and read them.

Should I save my wrapped gifts for next year?

Will the new mutations be released today or has the release date been changed. I'm sorry, I'm really impatient...

They will be released this upcoming Friday.

That is a good question- wrapped gifts, leftover reindeer, and frost tokens in the shop- what should we do with those?
Should we spend up the tokens, or will they be there next winter/next festival?
Should we throw away the gifts or will they be useable in the future?
And what do I do with my leftover reindeer? Poor things, they should be at home with Father and Mother Frost...

Basically, everything can be saved for next year. Either we will use the same items or convert them into whatever we use in the future.

I can't promise anything on the Reindeer though. There is a chance they will be used for nothing. If that's the decision, we will just remove them from the game.

I'll hide my gifts away for the next event; or next year, however that works out.

And that would be awesome to save the tokens for the next festival. Rollover tokens! But will that work if you have them in inventory or in the shop? Or either way? I just want to know if I need to spend my shop tokens or not.
