Schylur takes a moment to process what he had said. They blushed, feeling a tiny bit flustered, and looked down, thankful for the excuse to bend down and pick up their pencil when it fell out of their hair and to the floor. They picked up their pencil, straightened, and was about to put up their hair again when they noticed the leaves still in Chester's hair. "You've got something... Here, let me help you." They put their pencil in their mouth to hold it as they gently comb through Chester's hair to get the leaves out. It would be annoying if they just left the leaves in the hair or simply pulled them out. Leaves liked to crumble and that always was annoying to get out of your hair. When they were done with their mission of getting the leaves out of Chester's hair, they handed the leaves to Chester and then proceeded to put their hair back up into a quick bun.

(if you arent at the dining hall...now you are. Congrats, you learned teleportation! (no you didn't just jk))

The headmaster finally got up on stage, once everyone was seated, and started talking through announcements. Most of it was the usual, although one stuck out:

"...and if you see any suspicious activity, please inform the staff immediately. Anyways, for dinner tonight..."




Eleni started drumming her fingers on the table out of nervousness, tuning out the dining announcement. She had secrets to keep but obviously they were following her....


Newt glanced at the other guys at his table. "...Did i hear that right?" He asked. Other students were chattering a bit too so no one took too much notice of him talking during announcements.

the principals voice was drowned out by her thoughts until she heard him say what he had said and she was bounced back to reality

Asuriel tapped her fingers on the table, wondering what the purpose of that extra announcement was. Probably someone was caught with something against the school rules, but still. She needed to pay closer attention to her surroundings

Rachael rested at the end of the table silent she ran her fingers along the cuts and cracks in the wood

his voice was drowned out by her thoughts again

Chester

He raised an eyebrow in curiousity as Schylur start combing through his hairs tho it soon turned into amusement as they handed him the leaves. "Well, look like a piece of the outside decided to take a ride on my dime, thanks for helping me out with that i woudn't have noticed otherwhise !" Since it was soon the anouncement and he wasn't quite sure what table Schylur was on, he waved them goodbye in a playfull maner before heading to his designed place.

Once he was sitting at his usual spot he preaty mutch ignored the anouncements for the most part, it was alwais the same things anyway so he didn't felt like he was missing out on anything, well until the last one. His head turned automaticly toward the headmaster's voice at the mention of suspicious activity, well ... now that was somthing new but he wasn't sure he liked it.

Alisa

She was one of the first at her table, still writing in her small notebook, ignoring evryone until the anouncement started. The last one didn't sat well with her, what was the security of the school doing, sleeping on the job ? She was silently seathing at what may be happening, her mind automaticly thinking of the worst possibles outcome. Of course somthing would eventualy happen in a school for ellite like them but still, the busness woman in her was preaty mutch hissing that there better be a resolution for this and quick all while she also knew it wasn't on her to do anything this time and that she would have to wait like the others.

Dinner was soon served after that and normal chatter resumed, though some of it was also about suspicipus activity.

Newt as usual ignored the world with his aid off and a book in his face. Normal Newt, rhough it was a littme annoying.

Eleni on tbe other hand had turned to her roommates once the food was served. "Does stuff like that announcement happen often? She asked. "I mena it woildnt be surprising but why make an announcement if it was expected?"

"See you later?" Schylur says hopefully as they wave goodbye to Chester. Schylur went to their seat, feeling a bit isolated despite being amid the dinning room filled with so many people. Being alone and left to their own devices was nothing new to Schylur, but it felt a bit different now, seeing other interact and forge relationships. Schylur didn't mind being alone. At least that's what they told themself and what they then believed since they hadn't anything strong enough inside them to tell them otherwise...
However, it would be nice to have someone to be with during the day. Perhaps they and Chester could become friends. Schylur chided themself, telling themself that Chester might not have time for becoming friends with them because he usually had others around him. They listened to the announcements, paying attention through them all because that was what they had been taught to do. The last note was new and Schylur tucked the information away to remember when they needed it.

Alisa

" It's not an usual anouncement, somthing clearly happen and in my ligne of work it mean that the security seriously failed at it's job." She explained to Eleni, making sure to stay professional and not to show her anger at the situation and the lack of any visible preparation for this kind of incident.
