Crimson snuggles into you, and with your familiar by your side you can finally sink into a somewhat fitful sleep.
You wake, still tired but too cold to get back to sleep. You feel chilled to the bone. You know it's early by the golden morning sunlight cast on the fabric of your tent. Most of it anyway - a portion of the bottom has an uneven shadow cast over it and looks slightly damp.
Shootingstar is awake, his wings wrapped around him. He looks over to you with wide eyes.

The leaves only rustle slightly as you step from them and onto Brazentalon's back. His eyes are sharp as he stares, too.
You notice shadows move on shadows, and after a disoriented second you realise that a large, well camouflaged critter is moving among the trees. It has brown, shaggy fur and is about the size of Brazentalon. You recognise it to be a brown bear.
The sun is beginning to set already, the chillsky days short and the nights cold and long. The freezing air does nothing to help your hunger or how tired you are.
Fog begins to gather on the ground, getting thicker as time goes on. Balthur has lit lanterns on the sides of the cart so you can still clearly see it, and he whistles a tune.
I'm not too sure, but here's the last post of your storyline that I can find

"Morning everyone," Asteria gets up and rubs Crimson and Emberpaw's back "Wake up you two."

Emberpaw rolls over to the side of the tent and licks at the water droplets that have condensed there. Crimson takes one look at the strange shadow that has been cast, shivers, and exchanges a look with Shootingstar.
"Can we have a look outside please?" Crimson says hesitantly. She looks worried.

You suddenly feel something bash into the back of your head. You stumble and fall as several other projectiles are thrown at you.
Swiftly you feel your legs being tugged as you are dragged by small, clawed hands by your ankles off of the road. Your vision is dark and blurred and you can't feel your limbs.

Fun. He tries to yell out and the realizes...his gear is in the cart. Of course.

"Sure," Asteria opens the tent flap and looks outside.
