Oh cool! I'm a pretty good shot if I do say so myself :)
I have never been to a shooting range. We just set up a pumpkin or a bucket in our backyard (we live in a rural area (yeehaw!(the closest Walmart is 30 minutes away!)) so our backyard is HUGE and consists of forest, gravel, and field) I want to say a half a football field away (I think) and then shoot at it lol. The only gun I have used is a 22 but I'm pretty good at it :3

I mean technically it belongs to my dad but he bought it for me, it's sighted for me, and I am the one using it.
And I don't plan on it ^-^ I've taken safety courses and I know the importance and danger that guns have and can pose to others if not used ocrrectly!
