I smiled and looked at the cat "it's all good" I said as Taylor looked at the she-cat, "is that ok with you Jax?" I looked at the cat he was talking about that was the shifter and focused on the energy "could that be the thing that was staring at me?" I asked through the link to Jax who was still staring at the cat he was talking about.

I smile and point to a couple of the other books I was interested in "Pretty good! I've found a ton of stuff!" I quickly slip the book I was reading into the pile, hoping to hide it.

Jax replied through the mind link as he continued to stare at the cat that was still trying ~and failing~ to trick him. He looked away and walked over to the store clerk, " We want these two." he pointed to the shifter then to the actual cat that Taylor wants, then through the mind link he added, "I have some more money at home, we can come back another time to get cat toys and stuff."
