He strokes his braided beard thoughtfully, a frown on his face. "I can't claim to have seen such a centaur. Is he kin of yours?"
You note movement to your right. The trader from the western territories is packing up his stall, putting his goods into a small cart. He's got a decent bit to go.
"Yes, the son of my herd leader. I don't suppose you know anyone with a long memory who might know of him, or perhaps a common destination for wandering centaurs?" I keep a subtle eye on the western trader but don't want to be so rude as to cut off my current conversation, nor risk missing an opportunity when I'm already halfway there.

The two goblins walk off when you are properly secured, and time passes on. You aren't fed for the rest of the day and you eventually fall into an uncomfortable asleep.
You are shaken awake, curses thrown at you by several goblins.
"Move, move, move!" one shrieks, and you feel yourself being picked up and put onto your feet. They push you along, out of your chamber and through one with various bits of furniture and items strewn around. A few of the goblins are still hastily packing away their things.
You are shoved onto a cart and bags are dumped on top of you. You can barely see through a gap as a cover is then put over all of the stuff in the back of the cart, blocking your view of the outside world.

(All corrected and up to date - thanks for reminding me ^.^)
Brazentalons chuckles, shaking out his wings and trotting after you. "I'm sure we'd sneak past one of those old things with no bother this time."
You find yourself back on the Adventurer's Road, the forest now behind you and your favour almost completed. Now you just have to get back to the stall.
The sun is close to setting, the sky darkened and tinged golden orange at the horizon. The air is chill and your breath condenses in front of you and Brazentalons.
"I've never been so happy to see the sky in my life," he says.
(Just wanted to amend the no-fly-zone law above Elvenor since I remembered something from a while back - it is in place for non-official flyers but messengers and guard/soldier patrols would be commonplace)

Soon the camp is all put away and the pups are a comfortable height above the snow, hitching a ride. It'll be backbreaking until the snow melts, but you'll manage it.
You travel through snow for hours before it becomes the barest amount of frost under the sunlight. The pups wriggle out of your grip, Crimson licking your face first before bounding around with Emberpaw, 'scouting' the way ahead and generally playing around.
When the sun is high above you, the phoenix shriek overhead and the pups come careening back to you and Numbat. "There's houses!" Crimson cries. "All up a mountainside. Come and see!"

Guess they dont want to be found.
Huh.
He grunts and tries to move little to get a little morecomfortable.

The northern trader shrugs, a pitying look on his face. "I've kept on the Adventurer's road from here to the northern territories for years, and I certainly haven't seen centaurs staying up there for long. Too cold and mountainous for us - I doubt any centaur in their right mind would stay up there without a great reason telling him to do so.
"As for someone else who might know, I don't think you'll find much luck with that in the Northern territories. Dwarves are slow to trust, and they'd be the only ones you'd probably be able to ask. And even then, they don't really pay too much attention to the people they trade with."
The western trader looks perhaps to be halfway finished packing away.

Asteria warily walks toward Crimson, "Okay okay calm down. Remember what we agreed on you five understand? These Higher Creatures could be very dangerous.''
