It is sundown when you reach the stream and the pups are yawning. Birdie is doing very well to keep them upbeat, wagging her tail and yipping encouragement at them. Cara smiles, watching Birdie care for the pups
Ikira rotates her ears as she swishes her tail before giving Birdie a nudge on the shoulder showing her approval " Lets get a drink and rest here for the night.... Ill keep first watch " she said enthusiastically, smiling and nudging the pups the water with her snout gently

The pups give happy little snuffs as you splash them with water, bounding are your paws before scampering to Cara. "Mommy are we staying here?" Feverfew askes, bouncing round her mother. Her cousin joins her, "Yes Momma pleaseee I like Birdie!" he says, pawing at her side. "Yes dears, you have to thank your Alpha though." she says, a happy smile on her face.

Ikira sat down after a good drink of water, her ears perked up and rotating for sounds before hearing Cara Mention her as Alpha again. It felt nice to be wanted among a pack again and being Alpha did not sound too bad she though as she wagged her tail

Oktavian nods, sprinting back to her pups. Mimosa is panting, she has a bad bite on her foreleg. It appears to be bleeding heavily.
I instruct her to lie down and put pressure on the wound. I know that you need to put pressure on a wound to stop the bleeding so I look for a large leaf or something I can use as a bandage to do that.

As you watch the two pups bound up to you, tails wagging wildly. "Thanks for letting us stay Alpha!" they yip nuzzling you and giving happy barks
