WELCOME!
This time I would love to present you some traditional dishs from Quebec!
Quebec food is heavily influenced by the cuisines of France and Ireland, as many immigrants from these countries settled in Quebec starting in the 1800s. These influences led traditional Quebec food to be hearty yet sophisticated.
The sugar season (temps des sucres) is one of the oldest of Quebec culinary traditions. During springtime, many Qubcois go to sugar shacks (cabanes sucre) for a traditional meal.
Appetizer Soupe aux gourganes (Gourgane bean soup)
Gourgane soup is a simple dish that contains water and beans, along with vegetables, salt pork, salt and herbs, and somethimes also flour or oats. Other vegetables commonly added to the soup include green or yellow beans, carrots and, occasionally, finely sliced cabbage. The soup is topped with fresh herbs like parsley or chives.
Salad Spinach Salad with Maple-Dijon Vinaigrette
Opposites do attract: This salad combines smoky, salty bacon and crisp, fresh spinach. What makes this dish unique is its maple syrup-based dressing, which adds richness in addition to maple flavor, and tart apple pieces to add another layer of taste.
Entree Poutine a dish of fries, gravy, and cheese curds; popular throughout Quebec
Poutine just might be Quebecs signature food. The messy pile of fries, gravy, and cheese curds has experienced a renaissance, spreading across Canada and beyond.
The traditional take is made up of thick-cut, home-style fries, homemade gravy, and fresh curds from a roadside chip truck.
Dessert Queues de Castor - Beavertail
This dessert is one of Canadas best-known national symbols.
It is a fried dough pastry, that is individually hand stretched to resemble the tail of a beaver. https://de.pinterest.com/explore/beaver-tails/
I hope, this little excursion through
the cuisine of Quebec has been to your liking.
Thank you for your visit!

You pinged me twice with what I should be doing?
I'm wondering which one is actually for me?
(Although I assume it's the second one because I already made a traditional 4 course Indian meal?)
I think you might have not pinged someone else and instead pinged me twice, though.

Yes, sorry. I didn't mean to ping you. I was trying to quote and must have hit the wrong button.
Slovakian food is hard. It doesn't have much color... Its a lot of cabbage. And there aren't many traditional appetizers because they usually don't eat an appetizer. I figured soup counts as an appetizer, so I did that. I'll figure it out though.

@Entropy fun fact...this ain't the first time I've gotten you two mixed up...no...it's not the same as when I kept thinking @Treetoes is with ya...for this one im literally mixing you two up ,lol
....yay for the perks of meeting @Entropy and @TreeToes on the same day and then @Donmino a littler later...pfft...now if any of you get pinged twice, just direct it to one another, lol. If it ain't Don, it's Ent, if it's not Ent, it's Don.
(Dont ask how I mix you guys around, lol, I just magically do, it's the same reason why I mix Starmax and RoseyDove around...and oh thank heavens Rosey ain't in this contest, lol)
