Thundersnow Griffi:

Based off the fairly recent thundersnow storm we had where I live. A thundersnow is essentially a thunderstorm, except that instead of raining it snows. They only occur in winter, so I thought it fit the theme.

"Nightly Snowfall"
inspiration is based on where I live. I am surround by mountains so Snow usually doesn't start falling where I am until late night. This Griffi in particular is based off snowfall during a 'new moon' (no moon seen) where it's very dark and contrast to the snow.

Meet my dream griffi.
based on the snowy-owl.
i figured a snowy owl fit the wintery theme sense its base coat is white like snow and 'snow ' is included in its name.
i added the touche of gold to emphassize the color of a owl's eyes and for elegance/a splash of color.

'Clarice'
Rudolph the red nosed reindeer is the inspiration for this griffi. i like girl griffi's better than the male and so this griffi is named Clarice for Rudolph's girlfriend

I've had a fondness for candycanes for years now. Not to eat.(i always end up so sticky...) but the red and white stripes..hmm <3

We only see candycane around the winter around here. Which is a shame as i've been wanting to make candycane decorations....

( theres been no word on whether peacock mutations have been banned but if they are i can make an alternative design.)

This Griffi is Festive Themed, The green and red are common Christmas colors, and Christmas fits winter well. The wings are icy/minty depending on the viewpoint.

Midnight Fog Griffi

I live within a mile of the ocean. And during the winter nights, the fog gets so thick that you can't see even a few feet ahead of you, so most people stay off the roads at night. And in the forests around my house, all the kids and teenagers come out to play fog tag late at night. It calls for a flashlight with a blue setting, or saran wrap carefully dyed blue, and then everyone meets on one of the roads. One person is chosen as it, and two are chosen as guardians. Guardians keep the it person safe, but can't speak. Everyone else runs away. The point of the game is for the it person to find and tag everyone with the help of their guardians, but for everyone else to "tag" the it person from behind with their flashlight beam. The blue of the light and the fog at night gives everything a surreal haunting feel, and you can almost imagine that your fellow players aren't the only ones in the fog with you...
