I love the sort of half-smile that the male has now! Its so cute! And I like how the female's mouth is open just a little. It looks more genuinely like a little doggie smile!

I mostly like them but something about the curves of the tail on the bottom right pup looks a bit unnatural. I like the hanging locks on that one the most out of all of them though, they look more carefree and inviting. :)
I knew this was coming...I love the current look of the puffadores, so I really appreciate that you're sticking true to the original look. I just can't help but be a little apprehensive. I'm sure I'll come to love the new ones just as much as I love the current design ^-^
I don't know if this is just me, but do the female hatchling's eyes look really far apart to anyone else? Especially considering the angle she's turned at...
I'm sure with color and shading, I'll be just as impressed as I was with the ny'venes. Thanks as always to the admins and artists who pour so much into keeping this site wonderful!
Y'all are awesome. The little touch-ups that were made are perfect - especially the expressions. My apprehensions are melting away....I can't wait to see colored versions! <3

Aww. D: now the male puff looks too happy. I adored the way the expression was before since it kept close to it's original. That and it added far more personality to the male than how it is now. x.x; Maybe if you want to keep the male so... uppity and not smug can the female look more smug then? Because now they just look.. well.. they don't seem to have much of a fun contrasting personality anymore. >.>'' Also the female still looks a fair bit tilted. Like her tail is going to tip her over to her bottom.

The females almost always look better than the males, I've noticed. Even in this species.
However, I feel like the Zolnixi/Aurleon are still my favourite at this point.
