Autumnstar woke to a sunny meadow. She caught sight of another wolf. "Shadestar! Greetings!" The wolf stopped and turned. "Autumnstar! Greetings to you as well." The wolf ran up to her. "So I'm assuming I'm here because you have a message for me, Shadestar?" Autumnstar asked.

"Ah yes! Well It's not really a message. More of a prophecy. Well here it is: Dances of a fox, moves of a leopard. Dawn shall rise with pups to bring." Shadestar finnished. "Thank you Shadestar."Autumnstar thanked him as he disappeared.


She woke with a start as sunlight shown through the branches hanging over the entrance to her den. Her pups were cuddled next to her and Mightclaw slept in the corner of the den. Careful not to wake them, Autumnstar got up and walked out of the den. She wondered down the tumble and looked for talonclaw. "Talonclaw, I need to talk to you!" she yowled when she saw him.
He ran to her. "Yes, Autumnstar?"
"Shadestar visited me in a dream."
"What did he say?"
"He said this: Dances of a fox, moves of a leopard. Dawn shall rise with pups to bring."
"What does that mean?"
"No idea, yet."

Jadeheart yawned and got up. She looked outside. "What's with all the yelling?" Jadeheart asked sleepily.

"Oh sorry Jadeheart! Go back to sleep. You need your rest. Stumblefoot would tell you the same thing." Autumnstar barked to Jadeheart.

Jadeheart went back inside. "Why can't a she wolf get her rest in the middle of the night!" Jadeheart muttered grumpily.

~Two weeks later~

Stumblefoot was by Meadowflower's side early in the morning. "Your doing great, Meadowflower. Breathe. Good." A ripple passed through Meadowflower's body as a pup heaved it's way into the world. Another ripple passed and the pup was born. "Good job Meadowflower! One more and then your done." Stumblefoot said and picked up the pup setting it in front of her.
"Clean the stuff from the pup so it can breathe." he explained. Another ripple passed through her body as another pup came. "Breathe, just Breathe." he said. After the fourth ripple the last pup was born. "Your done, Meadowflower. You have two healthy pups. I will get your mate." Stumblefoot padded out of the Nursery.
"Oakheart, come say hello to your new son and daughter." Stumblefoot barked. Oakheart rushed into the Nursery for his mate. "Are you alive? Are you okay?" he asked. Meadowflower responded, "I'm fine and so are the pups."
Stumblefoot left them to talk and headed for Autumnstar's den.
"Autumnstar?"
"Yes Stumblefoot?"
"Meadowflowers pups have been born."
"Oh great news! I will check on her right away." Autumnstar heaved herself out of her nest and padded down the tumble to the Nursery. "Meadowflower the pups are beautiful!" she yipped. "What are you going to name them?"
"I'm going to name the leopard print one Leopardpup." Meadowflower responded. Oakheart replied, "That's perfect! And the one that looks like a fox, Foxpup."
"Those are beautiful names you two." Autumnstar said then greeted the two pups. "Hello little ones and welcome to ThunderPack." She stayed for a moment then said bye and headed out of the camp.
