I like what Kate said, and maybe they could even be like a new species for the exploration zone. Meaning, you guys haven't finished it all, so maybe they could be like their own race that we all discover somewhere down the line :)

*blushes and hugs thrack* aww thanks, lol, know we are all adults here but I still would worry about these things since we're all still living people with feelings and IRL stuff to do..,and we're...literally asking the artist to redo..,keeps, I know maybe they're probably fine with this since it's a website where we are like a family and we are supposed to be ok with constructive criticism ...doesn't mean I wouldn't still be concerned rofl

The new(well actually we won't be using them but I'll still say this) Lunemara just seems.. I'm not sure. The old design seemed so much more insect like. Honestly, I wish the Lunemara would stay how they are right now.

honestly all you have to do is keep the body more buglike. the arms are fine, the wings fine, the heads are cute. its the obvious humanoid gendering that really messes things up...

to show a difference male vs female doesn't have to be small and curvy vs big and strong(sexist as hell anyway), but the fact most male animals irl tend to be the more flamboyant ones really shows these designs weren't made with insects in mind.

i do appreciate all the work the artists have done, and i understand the importance of making the genders look different enough(ie the lupora), but i hope after this the females look less...demure. maybe incorporating gender-specific base features would help differentiate more in the future?

I ate a grub once. Word of advice: don't do what I did, it was the nastiest thing I ever ate. Anyway... I think the female "grub" or hatchling could be improved by placing a sweet smile on her face. This will make it seem she is dreaming and not dead. Thank you! ^_-

To be honest, I prefer the current design of the lunemara much more... I prefer the whole body shape and wings. I also prefer the arms of the current lunemare, they look much more bug like. The new lunemara have longer boddies and the head seems too small compared to the body for a moth. I also think that the wings should be much bigger, because most moths have very big wings while this at the moment looks too much like a wasp.

Since the adults are being scrapped, I would like to share my thoughts on the female kid. I don't like her pose, which makes her seem weak or hurt, unlike the male kid's cheery pose. She should at least look less depressed in my opinion. From what I've read, people don't have anything against the kids, so there are just my personal thoughts on this.

Well, I've voiced my opinion on the first try designs, so now I'll say a little about how they should look, or how I want then to.

First, I think moths are really cute, I mean, look

I think that silkworm moths are a nice thing to base the new design off of. I like the antenna here, the way that they look like feathers, and yes, they do have feet. Their legs/toes look somewhat like the revamp design, but segmented limbs might be nice.

Veins that are visible on the wings might be a good addition. Some posts above have mention that the reason people like lunemaras now is because of their wings, and the designs that are possible on them, I'd have to agree.

Anyways, that's what I have to say, maybe I'll add more later based on what comes to mind.

Oh also, please get rid of the mouths, it accounts to much of the human look.
