"Oh come oooon you guys are taking forever, I can't let that jerk Rhys get too far ahead of me, so, I'm off" Sylver said, giving a quick wave goodbye as she turned and started running through the trees, back to the road, her two Pokemon back in their balls.

Rowlet flew back to Ailla perching on her head.

It was nighttime when Sylver finally got to Hau'oli city, she gazed around, when a very attractive man came her way. "Hello there, I'm Illima, the trial captain, are you looking to take on the trial" He asked her. Sylver just smiled and nodded "Well follow me then, I'll take you right over there now" he said, beckoning for her to follow.

"Well, good luck, your task is to defeat the three rattatas and then battle the totem Pokemon, then you can take your normalium Z" he told her, wishing Sylver luck on her trial. Stover took her two Pokemon out before entering the Verdant Cavern.

Ailla gave up on waiting for gradient and started on her travels to the next town. Her rowlet still perched and sleeping on her head. She hated putting her Pokmon in there balls. She didn't know what it was like but she imagined it was probably a lot like a cage. She could imagine how it must feel so trapped in there. She didn't know how Pokmon could stand it. She sighed and petted the rowlet as it slept away peacefully on her head. It was probably nearing midnight. And she had to wonder why rowlet and OWL Pokmon wasn't awake right now. The thought made her chuckle. She looked up at the night sky. Unlike most of her family Ailla hated the night. It was just so dark and cold and you could barely see anything, but with rowlet on her head and the egg in her backpack she didn't mind it as much if anything it looked beautiful.


Hours later Ailla arrived at the next village. It was almost dawn so Ailla just found a bench put the rowlet down on her side curled around the egg and went to sleep.

Sylver finally reached the pedestal where the normalium-Z was. She looked around for any sign of the totem pokemon, but didn't see anything. "Hmm, I guess I'll just grab this and go, this was easy" As Sylver was about to reach the pedestal, a giant Alolan Raticate jumped out, roaring at Sylver. "Eek! Marinaaa! heeelp! She called to her Popplio, throwing the ball. The ball bounced off of the Alolan Raticate, landing on the ground before Marina came out of her ball, happily bwarking before she turned to face the giant Pokemon. "Bwark!" Marina cried, jumping into Sylver's arms. "Shh, it's okay, you're stronger, it's a dark type, you have the advantage!" Sylver comforted her Popplio. Marina jumped back into the battle "Disarming voice!" Sylver called to her popplio. After a few more fairy moves, the Totem Pokemon was finally defeated.

Sylver walked back into town, proudly clutching her Normalium-Z when she saw Allia asleep on the bench. She was about to call to her, but decided against it, she probably needed her sleep, so she just took a blanket from her bag and covered Allia and her Rowlet with it before walking to the Pokemon center

Ailla woke up in the morning for once not freezing cold. She noticed the blanket and smiled. "Wonder who gave this too me?" Ailla asked rowlet before she realized the Pokmon was still asleep. She she smiled at the cute scene."whoever it was is probably still in town. Probably at the Pokmon center." Ailla thought heading that way.

Yuri and Thomas soon exited the caverns Arguing but each with their own normalium-Z. " I totally had that under control like last time !" she said in a harsh barking tone. " Yeah, Okay, sorry again for getting in your way, but it was boring just waiting for my turn" he said his hands resting on the back of his head. Vul and Ren trotted side by side between them seeing to be getting along quite well. " Ugh Whatever! just wait next time Jerk!" she spat before she noticed Sylver and Allia. " Oh hey, sorry we lagged behind...." she said changing her tone to a more apologetic one. Thomas scoffed " We would have been here sooner if someone didn't have such an attitude..." to which he received a glare from the short Female.

"Yuri! Thomas! Good to see you guys!" Sylver said, smiling as she walked over, holding a Roserade tea "I got my Normalium-Z, look how cool it is!" Sylver said, looking more excited than they'd ever seen her, but her expression suddenly changed to an annoyed look. "oh, you. What are you doing here?" She said with a snarl, clutching her tea slightly harder.

"I'm getting some celebratory Komala Coffee" Rhys sneered from behind the two. Sylver rolled her eyes "What would someone like you have to celebrate" She asked him. "I got my Normalium-Z, unlike you" he jeered. Sylver rolled her eyes, sticking her Z-ring out at him. "Got it last night, actually" she said smugly. "Anyways, guys, lets go get drinks, I finished my Roserade tea anyways." Sylver said, looking at her empty cup.

Ailla entered the Pokmon center her rowlet cradled in her arms still fast asleep. "Oh hey guys!" Ailla said seeing the group.

Yuri waved at Allia before declining the offer from Sylver pulling a water canteen from her bag, and a couple of bowls. Thomas thought for a moment " Yeah, I guess a drink does sound refreshing.." he said taking them up on the offer.
