"Just follow me" She trailed along one of the rock formations, pulling herself to the top of it, motioning for you to follow. On side of the rock facing the ravine, there was a tunnel dug into it, leading down to a cliff with a second tunnel to go into, and after that one, you both arrive safely in the camp.

"There's several entrances if you know where to look, but they're much easier to find from in here, I'll let you explore for a while, if you have any questions, let me know" Goldenstar says politely.

I flicked my ears to rid myself of an irritating fly before I padded forward. The tunnel was cool inside, being out of the glare of the sun, and carved through the stone. It led down at a sharp angle, but not so steep that I had trouble walking. It eventually oppened onto a small ledge about halfway down.
The tunned I had just exited was the middle or the three. One was half- exposed and led down to the ravine floor, and the other one seemed to go straight into the cliff. The ledge itself spread along the side of the ravine, giving access to many caves.
I ended up spending the better part of the day exploring the extensive cave and tunnel system. It's like in endless maze, twisting and turning within the earth. Some caves are only accessible from inside, and others are barely more than wide indents in the rock.
My favorite cave was one with a veery narrow enterance but opened up to be quite large inside. Half of the floor was smooth, polished by the paws of countless cats, I realized. By the enterance, there was a wall covered in dozens of dark red pawprints, as though every cat who had stayed there had dipped their paw in red mud and ppressed it to the stone.
The other half of the cave dropped down about a tail-length before becoming a pit filled with soft, cool sand, perfect for sleeping in, but it was only perhaps big enough for a single cat or two.
"What den was this?" I ask Goldenstar, sensing her presence beside me.

((Is it okay that I went and described details like this or would you prefer I leave it up to you?))

(You can describe details as long as they aren't wildly outrageous things like... well, I can't think of any details at the moment, but as long as you just don't go overboard, its all fine)

"This was my den, and before that, it was Redstar's, and before him it was Adderstar, and Whitestar, and Goosestar..." Goldenstar tried to list off all the leaders before her "And Rainstar, and Leafstar... those are all the ones I know" Goldenstar entered and looked at the oddly colored rocks lining the inside.

"It's tradition that each leader would find a special colored rock, or at least one they felt a connection with, and move it back to their den all by themselves... this one was mine, I chose it because it has little gold speckles in it... my warrior name was Goldenspeckle, so I thought it was the most perfect thing, you can tell which one was Whitestar's, because it's white... Adderstar and Redstar had similar ones, Redstar chose the reddest rock he could find, and Adderstar chose her because there was an adder underneath that bit her... she lost her first life on the second day she was a leader, but she still picked that rock" Goldenstar reminisced.

"The Elder den is also lovely, it has glowing moss that grows inside of it, and similar to the warrior's den, all the elders put a redmud paw print on the wall... The stones and mudprints were always an important part of our clan traditions... it was to symbolize and honor our connection to our territory and lifestyle" She said proudly.

I ran my paw over each of the small rocks lining the den.
Something was nagging at the back of my mind, but try as I might, I could not seem to figure out what.
*The Elders?* I ask instead. *What other groups are there? You have mentioned Leaders and Elders, but what about everyone else?*

"Well, there's the medicine cat den, which is this one here" Goldenstar lead you into a small cave with a lot of grooves in the walls where some herbs were presumably kept. "The medicine cat is responsible for making sure the cats are healthy and curing wounds and diseases" She explained

"This one is the nursery" The cave sloped down and had lots of soft sand. "This is where expecting queens and new mothers stay until their kits reach 6 moons" She explained.

"Then the kits become apprentices and will stay in this den" She explained. The apprentice den was similar to the warrior's den, but had no paw marks on the walls. "Apprentices train to become warriors or medicine cats... they get assigned a mentor to teach them hunting and fighting and the warrior code" Goldenstar said

"The warriors are typically the largest group of a clan, they protect, hunt, and care for the clan" She explained briefly, the cave was covered with red mud pawprints. She finished the brief tour.

Pinestar smiles, happy with your answer.

"Good to hear" she says, dipping her head. "Our first order of business, we go to the starlake, so you can gain your nine lives" She tells you, turning to start leading you somewhere.

"After that, you can find more cats for you to rule over... I've already arranged for a medicine cat" She tells you.

He followed her, ``What is a Medicine cat?`` He asked her.
