"Come on, a tree with a mark.. Don't be ridiculous."

Yuuko inspected the tree over before finding one near the base and over its branches that looked suspiciously like clawmarks.
It could have been from anything, but they looked almost unnatural. Needless to say, he was pretty dumbfounded.

Mel nodded. "Hmmm I wonder...." She said as she walked around the tree, "What if in the middle of all this storm, lightning accidentally hit it. Or if say the people thought it was in the way and quite annoying because it dripped water all over them when they were on a bench so they decided to cut it down." She said with an eyebrow raised.

Rei

After a while of scouting out the plaza, she saw no issues and decided to head back to the rateways. Much to her pleasure, nothing too eventful was occurring in the plaza in the aftermath of her and her gang's successful mission.


Kim

Her intrest faltered from the strangers that had stood a way aways from her. She decided to wander back into the plaza, hoping that the chaos was no longer an issue. Perhaps checking out a few shops would be fun. She checked to make absolutely sure her gloves were on properly, having no desire to accidentally injure anyone.

"Welcome back." Kiyo had stepped outside to smoke, greeting Rei with a slight bow of the head.
"Wes has the distortion shard in the hideout already ready for you to look over."

"Sounds likely. Don't want to waste any more time trying to figure it out. Mimi'll cut off my hands we waste any more time around here.
Need to get back to the station."

Yuuko
Yuuko hesitated for a moment before sighing and nodding.
"Parked my car outside the residential area. Maybe about a block from here. I'll give you a two a ride back since she took the patrol car on ya."

Rei
(hideout)
"Kiyo, walk and talk" she instructed as she moved on further into the hideout. "I have some concerns that should be voiced."

Luna shrugged. "WHo knows what happened iwth this thing....At this point, I highly doubt Id be surprised if it grew a brain.
Mikal shook a little I nlaughter at that, becauseit was kind of true. Then rememberedhe was a tree. Trees dont laugh.

Just as Mel was about to head out she heard the laugh. "Okay, give up the act." She said facing the tree with her hand reaching toward her pistol. "You aren't a tree." She ran the sound back in her head, trees definitely did not make that sound, she was sure of that fact.
