I just love ornaments and I have actually tried to make one of these before in jewelry class but I never finished it.I have only tried to make one with seed beads though so I will have to try making one with regular beads!

I based this Griffi off of the expression "Catch your death of cold". The black on its coat represents how the cold was once thought of as a harbinger of death, it killed crops and such. The white, of course, represents the snow and cold (hence why I added the 'Whirling Snow' mutation). The red eyes represents the blood-shot eyes of a person who is sick with the common cold and also how stressed the person would be during the winter season. So, he is part harbinger and the stressed victim.

I based him off the idea of the winter solstice, since it's supposed to be the shortest day and longest night of winter this is what he represents.

Mine is based off of candy canes. You know when you have been working on one for a while and the colors start to fade and stain your mouth. Mmmm candy cane now where did I put it...

She's based on an Evergreen tree that is covered in ice and snow. So a lot of green, white and pale blue. The default wings work well for this since they resemble ice so much.

Oh, I love how he looks like a lightening god! Griffis' are officially one of my top favorite breeds!
