Black Magic
My design is based off of an amethyst necklace that I have which is purple and black. The connection to the "spooky" theme is that stones such as amethysts have been known to be used in magic of all kinds, including black magic.

Mine is based off the Witch enemy, particularly in her bridal form, from L4D and L4D2 - one of my favorite horror creatures (I don't like calling her a monster (although she is very frightening) >.>) of all time. She looks both like a grimy zombie and a lonely ghost, especially in her wedding dress. To me, she has always been a very sad and tragic character that I think becomes even sadder when you think about how she clearly must have succumbed to the virus on what was supposed to have been a beautiful, happy day. I tried to capture her glowing red eyes, blackened claws, and tattered gown, and took the liberty of giving her a wilted rose bouquet. This design can also be interpreted as a heartbroken ghost who died on her wedding day.

I was inspired mostly by Greek myths describing the guard dogs of Hades, Hellhounds. From many terrifying creatures roaming the ancient Greece I specifically chose Hellhounds for another reason, it being general love for canines. As a reference and main source of colours I used this picture:

The colours inspired by blood and night/darkness. The jewels and rose markings inspired by my favourite dysfunctional vampire family and their fancy mansions.

My spooky pet is based off of a vulture! I used this image as reference. I think vultures are cool and spooky because they are scavenger birds of prey. : )

Based on Skeletons/bones and blood/flesh/rot/necrosis. Dead things are considered Spooky yeah?
