Eleni looked thoughtful. "Yes, but its a rather vague announcement to jsut suddenly spring when it seems so onvious....its like they feel....threatened by something.....or maybim overthinking as usual."

She played with the spork left on her tray tossing it and bending it after a while it ended up breaking and she sighed looking around the room, Usually she didn't have her phone out at dinner but she was desperate to talk to someone. She took her phone out her pocket and proceeded to text her friends

Asuriel actually looked up at the rest of her table for once, noticing the new girl was sitting with them. "Oh, you got your dorm assignment then?" she asked "Honestly my guess about the announcement is someone, maybe a student, maybe not, was caught on the grounds with something or doing something that breaks one or more rules. I'm not sure what else it might be."

(Thats alright, we-'re goinf slow nyways)

Eleni nods and picks t her food. "Yeah......Oh, i didnt catch your names earlier, sorry. I am Eleni Whitaker , by the way." She quicklg says.

Asuriel nodded "I'm Asuriel Temeluch." she paused for a moment "Whitaker? Are you related to the actress Jodie Whittaker by any chance?"

"Distant probably. We dont do many things in the movie industry beyond mayne some stunts...." Eleni said. "Though its highly possible. Ill bave to check."

Chester

There wasn't alot going on at his table, maybe it was the anouncement or maybe it was the guy reading at the table who was shooting the ambiance down a few pegs but eather way he found yourself pulling out his deck of cards again. While stacking the cards by shapes he though a bit about Schylur or more exactly about the fact that he had never seen them around anybody despite being usualy attentive to other peoples, it lead him to wonder if they had any friends at this point, if not, maby he could try to change that.

Alisa

" Well, security breach are never a good thing but it may be a bit early to call it a serious threat, but even if it's just a contreband item going around in can't be taken too lightly." She blink a few times in surprise once she realised that she hadn't mentioned her name. "Oh, how rude of me, i am Alisa Valantian, in is nice to meet you Eleni."

(Gah so sorry i been busy!)

At least nothing else eventful happend during dinner.....

Once dinner was over, students were allowed free time until 10pm. Of course that meant Newt made a beelien for the books, just like a bookworm would.

Eleni, on the other hand, decided to socialize a little first....
