"Yes..." Japan said. He looked at Taithlon. "I would want to make her my wife, but I know you'd never consent to it. There's too much between us."

Taithlon didn't look at them, but her cheeks were flushed pink. She could feel her heart beating more rapidly by the second.

"I don't want France!" Wales said angrily. He sounded so much like when he was little. "I want to be with you! France can't protect me!"

He rubbed Wales hair, "lassie, I'll still protect you. You're my little brother. If any country tries to hurt you, I'll rip them apart. You follow your own path"

"What doesn France always say? True love conquers all?" Russia said.
"France says that, you don't. Please do not try to fill me with hope for impossible things." Japan said quickly.

Wales stuck out his bottom lip. "Fine." he said stiffly. "I'll leave you be."

"Good luck, lassy. If anyone hurts you, come find me, ey?" he walked off, not looking back, heading towards Russia. He wanted to scope out the area.

"Besides, she'll get bored of me. I follow a strict schedule that I do not waver from." Japan said.
