The dwarf's eyes cloud over and he frowns. "I don't want anything to do with the Enchanted Rings," his voice reduces to the barest whisper at the end, so quiet you almost don't hear it. "It's been nice doing business with you, but our paths must part here."
He packs away his very last things, hefting a large pack onto his back and hesitating before offering you a brief smile. "I would wish your path good luck but with that thing on you I doubt luck will do you any good. Farewell."
He hastily makes off. You can tell he's really trying not to be rude but he wants absolutely nothing to do with this mysterious ring.

Right, sorry but there are a couple of lil' issues we need to iron out before we go on...
As goes for everyone in Creature Kin, I control everything but your character. That means your familiar, too, so if you wanted to fly on her you would ask her to do so and I would roleplay on her behalf.
There's the other thing - in Elvenor, normal pedestrians aren't allowed to fly for safety's sake. Outside it's perfectly fine.
One last thing - I could really use with you getting into the habit of quoting or putting in bold my last post. I have to deal with 7 of you lot xD 7 different stories to yank out of my pretty empty brain almost every day. I can cope with you forgetting every so often but if you are able to quote it for me, please do.
I know this is pretty wordy but it'll make things harder later on if I just leave it. I hope I'm not crushing your creativity but there are certain things that need to happen so it's fair for all of you.
You slowly lean over and bite onto the food bag. Not a great taste, but the food should be better. With some effort you pull it closer to yourself. Some of the items of food spill out onto the floor but now you can easily munch through the contents.
You notice the flicker of torchlight outside, drifting over the cover on the cart. Hoofsteps trot by the party of goblins, but you can't see out.
(Think older ones just spoke - oops, seem to have had Crimson doing that already... shall we just go with speech no matter what stage they're at to make it simpler?)
The trader shakes her head. "19G and we have a deal. We've got plenty of hands to spare and don't have any odd-jobs for the passing adventurer."
(Sure. But only those who are bonded to them can understand it because that is the goal (isn't it?).)
"Deal," Asteria agrees, "thatnk you for your business."

Alright. That's fine.
Then I just try to look for a pathway so I am not stuck in the same place all day

"...Okay. That's not a good sign. I don't think there's much time left to do anything about it, though. Let's go to the aeries, it's getting late," I say to Brazentalons. I put my pack on and wonder if the bear encounter happened because of the ring, but shrug it off. I go to the aeries if Brazentalons wants to.
You have a few options. Your stock of firewood is small but adequate for a few more hours. The remains of your barrier are strewn across the ground outside, but will be cold and frosty and won't be able to keep a fire going on their own.
Delirious moves some of the wood from her small firewood stack onto the fire and tries to get the fire going again. She isn't really a huge fan of the cold and distantly wishes that she'd brought a coat before she ventured out into the wild.

Feeling full but with bits of the questionable food stuck in your teeth, your exhaustion takes over and you fall asleep.
You awake, refreshed and feeling much stronger than you have in some time, to a feeling of bitter cold. The cart has stopped and most of the bags have been taken out of the cart. The cover over the cart flaps slightly in the wind, giving you a view of the outside: bright white light, from the looks of it. You must have gotten used to the dark in the last while.

(Yep, sounds good to me)
The trader smiles and thanks you back, dropping a pouch onto the counter and taking your skins.
Parted with [6] skins
Small gold pouch and 19G added to inventory
As you leave the shop, Numbat rubs his hands together. "That should get us a decent way," he says cheerily. "There'll be other shops who need extra hands though, and I'm sure we could get more gold from that. Dwarves usually tend to stick to gold, so I don't think we'll be able to work for supplies. We'll have to get gold first and buy them with that."
The small creatures look around, getting a good idea of what a proper town looks like. They still look wary, but they trust you enough to stay.

(Thanks!)
The crowds aren't that bad, but it just means travelling will be slower than it would be normally. You can see various openings that you could take if you wished. It all depends on where you want to go.
Raven flicks her tail, looking up at you with big blue eyes. "At least it's sunny," she says cheerily. It's a little cold, but nothing you aren't used to from spending so much of your time flying around together.
