I fiddled with the map. Yeah, I was definitely holding it upside down. Except turning it the other way made equal sense. That was to say, none at all. Neither did flipping it sideways. Or turning it around. Hey, better safe than sorry, right?

I wondered if anyone really knew how to read a map without taking cartography lessons or something. Like, did cartographers purposely make maps confusing so that more people would take cartography lessons? Were those even a thing?

Then again, this map was also probably a few millennia old and I also had no idea how it was still intact. Maybe cartographers were secretly practitioners of arcane magic or something. I wouldnt be surprised.

You, sir, are useless, I said to the map. Or maam. You know what, never mind.

It didnt magically rearrange itself. Then again, it didnt make any less sense, either, so I probably hadnt offended it.

The stale air was probably making me crazy. Maps didnt get offended.

My english grade is a 97 but it's been that since the first quarter. No use in trying to fix something that doesn't really need to be fixed.

Did I have to look up that expression? Yes, and now I will probably remember it at random times and say it to people :D

I'm in a competition with my friend, a girl in my class who I'm friendly with but her friend doesn't like us talking so we don't often, and this boy to have the best grades. I think the girl I'm "not allowed" to talk to might have the best grades out of all of us but oh well.

I don't even know what we're doing at the moment. It's a huge mash of scientific notation, exponents, and stuff I don't understand. I'll just ask questions on the zoom call >.<


I'm like really stoked right now because when we adopted my bird Indy the lady told us they wouldn't be able to talk (we don't know their gender but we refer to them as a he so yeah) and after his bonded partner, who we also adopted, died of a stroke (not our fault, these birds came from a hoarding situation and the move was just too stressful and triggered the stroke) we didn't really have any hope for him to talk. We have a severe macaw, Phoenix, who can and does speak all the time. Mostly stuff like "Hi guy", "It's okay", "Bye guy", "Hi Phoeny", and "Cracker". I've recently been trying to get Indy to speak and today I walked over to let him out and as I was I was talking to Phoenix. Then I hear this small little "Hi" from Indy and now he won't stop saying it but it's really adorable so I thought I'd give you a picture of him sitting with me as I typed this whole long thing ^-^

Lark,ni took an orientation course when I was 11 for my youth group so I could get the award for it (like boy scouts but for both genders and church based).

My group didnt know what we were doing and pretty much failed but got the award anyways

To this day I only remember hat closer lines mean lower terrain and widening circles mean hills
