Maybe as a mutation for a redesignd Draeyl? Big long claws on a dragon would be cool as well.

Yes Snakes would have many options colour wise. And mutations could be wings like the logo, or indeed something that makes it look like a sea snake. Or a mutation could be to add those flaps next to the face. (Bad at describing, Think Cobra). Or 2 fangs. etc.
Really I think their logo design should be the base of a new serpent type sylestie with those gorgeous wings as a mutation. I would get one for sure

The 'mins have said several times now that the Draeyls are supposed to be more dinosaur-like, less dragon-like. They'll probably come out with an actual dragon pet later.
A lot of people have shown interest in snakes... I think they have a lot of potential for diverse genes and mutations alike! I made a post including this on page seven about it...

Well I agree if the draeyl is not a dragon that it looks good the way it is. I like the way draeyls look. They remind me of charmeleon (yeah that I my reason ) But I would love to have a dragon like dragon, or snake like sylestie next

AHHH. Yea now I see it, I wish there was like a RAINBOW mutation, where the whole body is rainbow xD i also want them to have a chameleon tail as a mutation. OR alligator/crocodile teeth mutation. I think that would be cool. I really do hope they make a dragon pet. That would probably make me play the game a lot more.
I want a snake/serpent pet so bad. Not only could they base it off snakes, but newts/salamanders & eels. I know they're not reptiles but I'm relating more to the body structure itself. I think eels would be also perfect for stealing genes from. Spotted Moray Eel Snowflake Moray Eel Dragon Moray Eel
