Zhrigan



Some say he is a throwback to a prehistoric ancestor. Zhrigan would say that he is who he is, and he makes no remark about if he thinks anything other than that. The truth? He often wonders if he looks like the First Draeyl, the Prehistoric Ones. Although he looks fierce, he has a great love of growing things. Flowers are his speciality. Claws good for fighting also make for decent digging tools. He is somewhat shy and a bit of a loner, but readily enjoys the company of others, as long as they are the calmer sort. He is always willing to help others, with a ready word of encouragement or a smile. While that description makes him seem soft, just try hurting someone he cares about.

whoo... okay... I was not expecting to write so much. I blame all the amazing ,stunning, and quite simply cool entries that are up. When I panic I draw a blank unless it's poetry for some odd reason. So if you looked at this entry and groaned... It's the communities fault not mine. XD Good luck to all the other contestants out there!

This luff will be named Moro, after a breed of blood orange which has the darkest red colouration. I've only ever had one blood orange, and it was at a point in my life where I hadn't heard of them before. It was quite a shock and I thought something was horribly wrong, but since then I've wanted to try one again, properly. I like them visually and I also love luffoxes. I'm not sure why I decided to combine the two but I'm quite pleased with the result. :)

This is Mistrust, a Lighira. Born as a weak little cub, he was left to die by Lighira breeders. No one thought he would survive, but he did. Growing up alone, he became cold and untrusting. A little girl found him one day about to get killed for stealing food from someone. she jumped to his rescue and he began to protect her when he found out she too was alone in the world.
I based the colors off something that would look demonic as to show he looks like a demon killer. The true reason i did this is because i want to show others that not all things are bad, some could just be misunderstood.

Self


Each being is immeasurably complex. The minute differences between every person's DNA to make them look completely different from one another is only the beginning. Each of we humans possesses an incredible intellect. We can imagine, dream, plan, communicate. We can make and appreciate art and beauty. To be human truly is an experience. Each of us is unique, and that is what gives rise to Self.

Self is what resides in each of us, what I've decided to show you is my Self. No Self is ugly, all are beautiful. They do not exist in quite the same way as we do, for they live deep inside our very being. They are our protectors, guides, mentors, inspiration. They are shaped by who we choose to be, in their appearance and temperament. My Self is sometimes dark and subdued, but she can still glow and express her love. You must remember to always love your Self, for there is no other just like it. And no one will ever be closer to you.

Seeing and experiencing your and other's Selves is a gift, and not one to be taken lightly. Try to remember that there is always that Self deep inside any other human you meet, a Self who loves and is loved. When you go about with that in mind, you'll find everything to be just a little bit easier.



(Maybe a little preachy but I just wanted everyone to remember how special and lucky we humans are. Love is a beautiful gift and experience and every human has their own gifts and talents, and struggles day to day with their demons. Love yourself and try to appreciate the others around you and have a great day! <3)
