My Ryori is based off of the cool nights of fall when it is often foggy and difficult to see.

I based this around the idea of spirits not being able to move on to the afterlife. Most of my design choices where based on the look of a pale spirit wandering a forest.(which is common where I live)

My inspiration is the mysterious, beautiful, and rare GHOST ORCHID.ghost orchid are rare, and like their name, somewhat resemble ghosts. ryori have that ectoplasmy stuff which reminded me of a ghost (ghost are halloween ) and how ryori's are a fabled/rare species.ghost orchid are rare and delicate, just like the ryori. as ryori's are only available during the fall fest.(and he themed ones are rare to run into and often run away lol)

This lovely lady is modeled after the bonfires my family has during the fall.

This is my design for this contest :) . I based it off of a creature from a game creature (game is league of legends) called Nocturn. A creature of pure darkness, and tried to bring that to the Ryori. In the spirit of the fest, Darkness Coming Ryori is a name that comes to mind to fit the whole horror Halloween theme.

i was amazed by how my tree looked its so amazing so that's why i made it look like this like my tree :3

i base all my idea on the many colors seen in fall all the warms colors of the fallen leafs warm nights by the fire side in essence this Ryori is the spirit of fall.

Autumn's Final Farewell



"Sometimes I wonder whats beyond..."

When I was little, there used to be a little empty lot at the end of my street. It was filled with lots of trees, and someone had hung a tire swing there. During the fall, all of the trees turned different shades of brown and red. I loved that place. Sometimes I'd look around for the fairies that I was so certain lived there.

Now the swing is gone. And we've recently moved away. But sometimes, I still can see the red of the trees. So this ryori is like a final tribute for me. :)
