As the calligrapher finished his work, the white paper erupted in a red and black flame. When the flames dissipated a sylesti stood where the paper once was. Its prescience strangely didn't scare the young man, even with its narrow eyes analyzing his existence.

The sylesti was engulfed in flames, but it was not burning. As it padded through the ruins it left smoking paw prints seared into the stone.

Sorry for the length
Flames. Oh glorious flames. Destruction raged around me. The screams echoed all around me, and I reveled in it.They were wrong to dismiss me as a minor threat. I would show them. I would destroy their whole world, till all that are left, are those who bow down to me, or those who are dead. Yes, I would show them, their puny armies were no match for me. I roared. I would be remembered. I would take down every one of their cities. and the first one, this one, no one was left alive.

My Story:
As he felt the Earth moved under his feet, he jumped onto the only thing he saw that wasn't moving, his owner. As soon as the Sylesti jumped, he earth he was just standing on fell below the surface of the Earth and hot rock started exploding out of the ground. Where he was just standing was the top of a volcano. His owner ran for his life with the Sylesti in his hands.
The surrounding island was a tropical paradise, but the world in the water yielded much more. As a certain swimming aquatic sylesti has just discovered. She was able to blend in with the neighboring coral reefs and colorful fish with ease. Allowing her to explore this underwater kingdom all the more.

Glittering, gold, sparkling light. The sylestia before you speaks of forbidden treasures, and hidden lores. Beckoning you closer - blinding light - did you really see what you thought you saw?
