I based this on the Australian Flag, but I feel it's more like the Britain one. I wanted to base it off the species that represented Australia, but alas a lioness is the closest I could get. I hope this is okay!

i was inspired by the monarch butterfly, because i always see them flying around near my house. i thought it would be fun to create a patriotic lum. because of them. i based it of the american flag.

i based mine off japans flag, i chose alderni because of the dragons and snakes in their culture, the tail was inspired from the japanese cherry blossums, and the horns because japans has many demons in their lore and tales. also the tenticles because of they are prominent in anime which comes from japan

I've lived in China for a full eight years, most of my life. Just last year, I moved here, to California, but I still have to say I like Shanghai more. Both are awesome.

I've looked around this thread and seen a lot of people without qualifying entries. Some of them have been addressed, but I figured that I'd just ping all of the people who had errors in their posts and point them out. Hopefully this isn't breaking the rules or something; I just want to help people enter since they seemed to want to. Remember that all of these are just suggestions that I am making in order to make sure of your qualification; you don't by any means have to follow them, but I do recommend it in most cases.

We'll start with Lunabuna: Your post lacks an image of the Sylestie you're entering.

Tigerstar102: The image you included doesn't work; I would recommend using the generator image hosted on Sylestia instead of a Google-hosted one. While this wasn't stated in the rules and there is a possibility that it would count if it did appear, I would imagine that it would be nearly impossible to create your Sylestie without colour information.

Secretsansy97: Your image would work if you put [img ] immediately before the link and [/img ] immediately after (no spaces).

Misswoolymouse: Since you posted your entry before the rule about old flags was established, it might still qualify. If you wanted to avoid any possibility of disqualification, then, because the colours are the same for the current flag, you could keep the design and just substitute the flag.

Xiaoyao8: You must choose either a male or female design. Only one image of your Sylestie is allowed in the post.

Jessc: Your entry might count since it was posted before the rule about old flags was established, but I included you here just in case. If you wanted to avoid any possibility of disqualification, then maybe you could find a different flag with the same colours for your entry and unofficially leave it as the old flag of Ireland.

Jigawatta: Your inspiration is a territory, not a country, and the rules say "country's flag". Look above to my suggestion to Jessc.

Ohie: See Secretsansy's suggestion above.

Princessstephzii: Precede both images with [img ] and proceed them with [/img ] to make them visible (no spaces).

Moonlight698: You can only use one flag for inspiration, and you can only have one design for your flag. Just choose your favourite of them and use that.

Lunarwolfie: While you did choose the female as your entry, including the image of the male may disqualify you. I would recommend removing it.

ToxicRiddle: See Lunarwolfie's suggestion.

Fiolei: I seem to be repeating what you already know, but I don't think your entry will qualify, since the rules say "country's flag".

Sallidelli: I'm not sure if that post is your entry. If it is, then your image isn't working. You'll have to paste the link to the image between [img ] and [/img ] (no spaces). You'll also need to state your flag inspiration.

Greenercreeper: There are three problems with your entry: Your images aren't showing up, and they're hosted on a site where the image link won't display colour information. I'm not sure that they'll qualify unless they're Sylestia-hosted generator images. In addition, you've used both the male and female versions. You've gotta choose one.

Ghast88minecraftaj: The image of the American flag will work if you move the link outside of that last bracket in " for one of those, too. Also, you should choose either the male or female; posting both is against the rules.

Pinky167: Highlight your image links and press the "IMG" button near the top right. Then they'll show up.

Flowerpride: I don't think your entry will qualify unless you include an actual image of the Sylestie.

I was originally going to go for the flag of sealand but I don't know what you count as a country. I choose America's flag!
Something about using Tanuki and Lynx ears gave what felt to me like the perfect mix of red white and blue, and I like how the lucky dust looks like fire works for the 4th of July! all in all, I'm really proud of him!
