There are not many trees here however there is a tall pine that you manage to climb. soon enough you see three wolf pups barrel out of the den and play on the ground, they are followed by a female wolf who watches them fondly.

soon the rest of the pack gathers, they rest and sleep for a bit while some play with the young. however you soon hear more howling, and it didn't come from this pack.

the fight breaks out and you cannot tell which is winning, finally this packs alphas are struck down. the other pack has won, many of their numbers are gone though. finally after everything has settled down you gather that in this new pack there are 7 wolves and 2 pups. the other packs pups have escaped into the forest, if the new pack finds them they will kill them.
