Winter Salad Aeridini
We almost ate throughout christmas day! It was a mix of the tastiest winter veggies and even now just the scent of it brings me nostalgia.

Frosted Pine Aurleon
Our family always sprinkled fake snow on the Christmas tree, just because.

Cozy Cottage Bulbori
Imagine the scene of a tiny mountain house, snow surrounding it. You can see the fireplace burn inside and hope to be welcomed by a cup of hot chocolate.

Weak Sun Draeyl
In the Netherlands there isn't too much snow. It's never that cold. The sun always comes and makes it just above the snow heat, so our snow turns in the slimy stuff. Great to jump and get messy in, though!

Christmas Tree Faelora
At my house we never have a red and green Christmas tree, but a golden one! It's beautiful!

Starry Night Griffi
Often, I sit in my room just staring out the window at night. It's so peaceful. I know, I know, stars are not gold. This is a fantasy site. Let me dream about golden stars :p

Hi there,

Just a head's up that you don't need to upload your designs or color codes on imgur. And to be honest, it makes it harder for the admins when you do it that way.

In the generator, if you right-click on the picture of the pet, you'll see an option to "copy image URL" or "copy image location." That will give you the link you want - paste it in your post, and then add "&size=250" to the end of that link!

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!
Thanks for the tip!

I've been doing a lot of thinking about how commercialised Christmas has become and how only the american and northern hemisphere's Christmases are seen a real Christmas.

Well today it changes, with me at least.

All my themes are going to be either based of the Americanization of Christmas, or the way big companies have influenced the way we think about it.
So let's begin. First off we have

Australian Summer Sunset Aeridini

I assume most people know that when it's snowing in america it's sweltering hot here. I don't see a lot of sunrises, hell I sleep though most sunsets. But summer sunset is beautiful It's bright orange and red and light up the whole house with how bright it is. It's solidly my favourite time of day.

Next up we have

Australian Wood duck

A lot of things on this list will be Australian, shock horror, that's where I live. Our Christmas is either hot and dry, or hot and wet. The other day it was raining (absolutely bucketing down) and I saw these ducks. They weren't doing anything special, just chilling in the middle of the yard. They didn't take cover or anything.
And you know what they say, Great Weather for Ducks
Oh and here's a duck

Now presenting the
It's not even Christmas! Bulbori

I don't know if it happens to you guys, but over here they stock Easter things WAY too early. As soon as Christmas is over it's bu bye Santa, hello Easter Bunny. This theme reflects that transition period where they want to sell their Easter stock, but aren't out of their Christmas stock. It's messy and they colours clash. Why? Because I despise the corporate influence on holidays.

Coke Santa Draeyl

Did you know red Santa was invented by coke? Well now ya do! I find it both fascinating and disheartening that an advertisement can change an entire culture (this has happened more than once, but more on that later)

Beach Fun Faelora

As I mentioned, we have a summer Christmas. Well a common and well loved past time, for those who live less than 5 hours away from a beach, is spending Christmas, or the holidays at the beach. Australian beaches are beautiful and full of colour. Most of the time.

Seagull Griffi

Keeping with the beach theme I picked the 2nd most universally hated bird, the seagull. These birds are renowned for stealing you food literally, out from under your nose. Despite their general hate, these birds are nice to look at, as are these Griffis.

Stormy Sea Kelpari

Beach plus rain equals stormy sea, right? I might have said it before, but it's either perfect, or bucketing down. Here we see a sea horse representing the bucketing down of the rain. Many a beach cricket game has happen in the rain. It's usually so hot before the rain that we go crazy when it happens.

Pagan Lighra

This theme was based of the description given here. Christmas is one of the holidays Christianity adopted, the other main one being Easter.

(posting now to "save my progress" if you know what I mean)
