Ellesine: Oh, water dragons are a headache.There are three in all of Viridia. I own one, and the rest roam free. You can't train a water dragon, unless it likes you. Now, on to Iotes. To show one you are friendly, you need to squat down to its eye level. Their eyes are currently blue, but if they turn amber, they may attack. Green means they trust you, then you must train them. Brown means they do not trust you.

The rocks scrape at your ankles a little, but you are able to make it into a clearing full of sand.
