You walked forward, feet sinking in. you were exhausted as you trudged forward, unable to stand up straight, but you saw a patch of green and a tree ahead of you. It could be some sort of mirage though, a cold mirage? What am I doing. Well, this is an RPG. It exists now.

You didn't need to use the overhangs to reach the ravines exits if you didn't need want to, but you could rest under them where the snow hadn't built up.

Head as far as I can without resting and and then rest if needed
You trudged through the snow and soon reached the end of the ravine, you were numb, cold and tired by the end and you couldn't feel your feet. You needed to sleep but it was still a small layer of snow here.
If I can still go on, I continue. If I can't, I sleep. But I try to push on anyways.

(3 line rule ^^)
You reached the end and a warm lighter breeze met you. you felt course dirt under your paws in places, where there wasn't snow. There was less build up of the white solid and the wind seemed to be building up again, but wherever you were now, outside the ravine you'd never left, it was a new world and the air was warm. you didn't see any trees, just the snow turning to dirt and then further what looked like green grass.

you gain a level in stamina and find yourself fainting, collapsing in the snow you went to sleep. In the morning you woke up to water lapping at the face, or was it a dream?

I give a happy shake, glad that it's warming up. I dart forward as fast as my cold limbs will let me, hoping to get to warmth as soon as possible. I look behind me for a moment, glad to be leaving the ravine.

You felt grass trickle your feet slightly, but you weren't sure if it really was grass or not. You felt the cold wrap stightly around you and you gave a feeble cough, not having such energy. You could smell foliage.

You ran forward and skidded on some mud, leaving you on the ground in warm mud where the ice had melted into the dirt.
