Marionette Ryori
I based my design off marionette facepaint (my friend went as a marionette for halloween)
Most baselayers are a light colour - white, pastel purple or beige. I imaged them as my three main colours. Then the genes represent the distinct lines of makeup which are almost always red and black. The brown spine shows the wood and strings used to keep the marionette doll up.
It's more halloween themed than fall themed, but I hope it's still okay.

My inspiration was a glow-in-the-dark skeleton we used to have(it broke; we must have played with it too hard,) the moon when it is full, my favorite color (blue) and skeleton costumes, and how they have black behind the bones to make them show up better. Probably also (subconcionsly) Danse Macabre, whose animated videos we have watched recently.

Midnight Spirit Ryori.
This was inspired by the Day of the Dead and the Spirit World, basically the ghosts of ancestors and loved ones coming back in spirit form.

Mine represents the Autumn moon. I admire the dark elegance of the moon at this time, and wanted to make a sylesti with its theme for this.

I was looking through various fall / halloween themed images and I noticed that a common background for the halloween scenes was dark trees with a glowing full moon and fog swirling around ominously, so that what I decided to base by design off of.
