Oriah grinned, seemingly unaffected by her dangerous actions. *Dont worry Leto, Ive only ever fought in self defense* Oriah reassures you, her smile turning soft and sincere, but her expression quickly shifted to worry as Qillorik and his horse began galloping away. *Darling... Leto... isnt it your job to protect the prince? Are you not coming with us...?* she asked, her face painted with worry.

Oriah quickly climbed onto the travel mule, urging it to go and severing the rope you were holding it by with her claws and it began walking off, not as quickly as Oriah wouldve hoped, but still going.

*Your darling prince needs you, go catch up to him, me and... Mumu will be fine* Oriah tells you, motioning to the black horse that was still with you, and making up a name for the mule on the spot. *None of them can hurt me, you know this* she tells you, insisting shell be alright

"L-Lady Oriah, I have no skill in riding. I can't ride. A-And more importantly, that's a travel mule. They're burdened enough by the weight on the things they must carry, and they are not for riding" she gestured at it being a halter with no reins and there being no saddle, "Your weight will injure it's back" she concluded.

"That's not the point, y-you assaulted the Princess. Could there not have been a more peaceful action?" she sounded half exasperated, half confused, "What did you two even do?"

Oriah quickly got off the mule, trying not to look guilty. "We don't need the mule anyway, if you can't ride, then run as quickly as you can to the port, I'll be there with your stuff before you can even worry about it." Oriah tell you, grabbing one of the supply bags and stuffing it inside the fur of her cloak, which wasn't logically possible, as the bag appeared too big to fit inside, but she did it nonetheless.

"As we were going to leave, Qinnara and her guard team were waiting by the gates for us, and when your prince told her what we were doing, the lie you made up, and she told us she knew she was lying, and I told her we had important business to attend to, and she was in our way, to which she got offended by, and Qillorik defended me saying that it was true and it was urgent and she just wouldn't let us leave no matter how much we insisted, and then she started threatening me, and Qillorik told her to step down, and then she threatened to... well, you probably understand, but I was completely justified in protecting us" Oriah defended herself, continuing to load items into her robe trim.

"Now hurry on now, it looks like Qinnara has made up her mind about what to do" Oriah says, motioning to Qinnara, who was barking orders at her terrified and bewildered soldiers with a shrill voice.

She frowned, "You're going to get caught sooner or later for who you really are" she pointed out under her breath before speaking up, "Neither of you thought about calmly asking the Princess about her own business of stopping you two? It seems obvious there was something important she wishes to share. In fact, you two of you provoked her, so the threats were rightful"

Leto huffed once she was done telling Lady Oriah off, "Consider that." she did obey Lady Orahs orders though and darted off in a sprint towards the port. Prince Oba was her main priority, not Princess Qinnara. There had already been attempts on his life and her staying away, especially when he was visible and out in the open, was a danger.

"It's alright, Leto, I was aware I couldn't hide forever... and remember, often times, there's no definite right in any situation, Qillorik will go more in depth, when you're out of danger" Oriah tells you as you run off, turning to face Qinnara's guards as they began heading over to apprehend her.

You didn't look behind you as you ran, as it would slow you down, but based on the sounds behind you, all the guards were going after Oriah.

Eventually, you arrived at the docks, completely out of breath from the far distance you were forced to run. You quickly spot Qillorik, who is looking around nervously from atop his horse. Upon spotting you approaching, he looks relieved, hopping off his horse and making his way over to you

"Leto! thank goodness you're alright!" Qillorik says as he approaches you, then looks around some more, and looks back to you, concerned. "Where's lady Oriah? and the mule with our supplies? And... what's that around your neck?" Qillorik asks you.

Looking down, you notice that you were wearing a necklace. It looked fairly simple, as it was on a black string with a deep purple charm on the end.

"Wherever Oriah is, she better get here soon, the ship to Quyin is leaving in half an hour" Qillorik comments, looking around anxiously.

She took a moment to catch her breath, panting. It was several minutes until she gingerly responded to the Prince, trying her hardest to keep her breathing rhythmic so it would slow down, along with her heart rate. Her muscles burnt due to build up of lactic acid and the oxygen debt could take hours to be paid off.

"The Lady Oriah stayed behind, She will be catching up in due time, please do not worry yourself. If the ship is to leave, then I am sure she will come on her own course - if you didn't notice, she has a stash of tricks." Leto dipped her head, putting her finger to the pendant, "I must've let my guard down and she slipped this on me.. I'm sorry to disappoint you. If I had to guess, this is a tracking pendant so she knows our location.. or something similar, although I don't know."

"As for the mule, it will be staying behind? Lady Oriah seems to have a pocket that is infinitely big so she can keep anything in it" she let out a breathy chuckle, "We're in debt to her, so you should listen to her wish - it would be valuable for you in the future to follow through as well."

She sighed, before straightening her posture, "And Prince Oba, as your personal guard, what in the world where you thinking? Picking a fight with Princess Qinnara. You risked everything, your heritage, and her own guards life. If she wished to come, you should've heard her out. By being offensive it made everything blatantly obvious. You will be keeping up your studies on this journey, don't complain about it."

*Leto... I know it was rash of me, but she didnt want to come, she had to good intentions* Qillorik tells you vaguely. *Before we bought you, there were originally 12 heirs to our kingdom* Qillorik said grimly. *Qinnara was a twin* he warned you.

*She wouldve killed us without hesitation if... wait, what happened with Oriah? What exactly was that demonic claw thing she had? Could it have been a magic item? Where could she have acquired it-* before Qillorik could continue his rambling questions, the captain of the ship called its passengers on board, and you and Qillorik boarded the vessel, still unsure of where Oriah was.

*Leto, are you-* Qilloriks question was cut off by a yelp as a parrat landed on his shoulder, licking the side as his face. *W-whats on my shoulder* Qillorik asks you, complete terror in his voice as he didnt dare move

"The twin was banished or killed?" she frowned grimly, "And as in Qinnara killed us.. or the twin? Would you consider the idea of this assassin perhaps being ordered around by a sibling of your own?" Leto reached her hand out to the parrot, offering for it to stand on her hand rather than on Qillorik, "It's just a parrot" she chuckled, although she was still frowning, "I need to attend to my wound, ask what the weather will be like on the journey will you?"

As she turned away, "Lady Oriah happens to know a few people and has gained a few magic items for her troubles." she stated simply, not giving much away, "Mind you, those items exhaust her and saved your life from a dust stalker, so I wouldn't think too lightly of it."

(Parrats And Parrots are two different animals, Parrats are kinda like griffins, but with a housecat and a parrot)

*Qinnaras twin, Qimmara, was assassinated when they turned 13. They slept in the same room, their beds were right next to each other. Qimmara was the older twin, so if the rest of us were to pass, Qimmara would still be next in line in front of Qinnara* Qillorik explained, softly smiling at the cat/bird creature walked across your arm, putting its front paws on your head as its claws remained on your shoulder, looking around.

*No one doubts it was Qinnara who sent the assassin to kill Qimmara, and no one doubts she will try to have people act against the rest of her siblings* Qillorik tells you as he begins walking off *Ill see if anyone here has any medical knowledge and can help you, too* he offers, leaving.

The ship begins leaving the port with Oriah still nowhere in sight, and the Parrat still remains with you, its body curled across your shoulders.

*Hello, you must be young Leto, a young man told me you needed medical attention?* A young man, perhaps a few years older than Qillorik, says as he approaches you, smiling softly. *Can you tell me the problem?* he asks

She frowned at Qilloriks admittel, then jumped at the man approaching, "A-Ah yes.. I got a dagger and slash wound earlier on. It's probably infected under the skin, I can open the wound." she moved to show the wound, starting to pick at it with her nails and ignoring the pain.

She enjoyed the parrat, "We have an acquaintance that may be coming, if that's okay" she said worried, wanting to be distracted. Prince Oba had admitted a dark secret, Qinnara. She wasn't even the most violent, she didn't kill for fun like some. This could be interesting.

(Reminder ping, this is your prompt:)

You see a few people not dressed like the other sailors, and decide to follow them into the kitchen where a man is aggressively barking orders at a small group of people in hairnets, who scurried around the kitchen doing various things, like chopping up ingredients and tossing things into pots
