"Well, there's the medicine cat den, which is this one here" Goldenstar lead you into a small cave with a lot of grooves in the walls where some herbs were presumably kept. "The medicine cat is responsible for making sure the cats are healthy and curing wounds and diseases" She explained
"This one is the nursery" The cave sloped down and had lots of soft sand. "This is where expecting queens and new mothers stay until their kits reach 6 moons" She explained.
"Then the kits become apprentices and will stay in this den" She explained. The apprentice den was similar to the warrior's den, but had no paw marks on the walls. "Apprentices train to become warriors or medicine cats... they get assigned a mentor to teach them hunting and fighting and the warrior code" Goldenstar said
"The warriors are typically the largest group of a clan, they protect, hunt, and care for the clan" She explained briefly, the cave was covered with red mud pawprints. She finished the brief tour.
Everything stars making so much more sense now, with Goldenstar giving me a tour and explaining different aspects of the clan. But of course, I still have more questions.
*What was that code you mentioned the Warriors teaching their apprentices about?* I asked.
Then suddenly it hit me - the thought that had been nagging me. *How do you know that I am the right cat to do this? Why did you choose me specifically? How am I even supposed to do this?!*

"Starclan has a special sort of way of knowing things, but basically, I've been paying close attention to the local cats, as have my clanmates, and we decided your destiny was best suited for being leader of Sunclan." She tried to explain.

"Well, we're here... just close your eyes and touch the water, you'll connect with starclan soon enough."

"Wait," I said, taking a half-step forward as Goldenstar turned to leave. I felt so confilcted, so unsure of myself. It was a rather alien feeling for me.
"I don't know what do do. I don't even know any other cats in the area. Tell me how I'm supposed to do this."
My voice took on a hard, cold edge, more an order than a question. It was a leader's voice, I realized. Maybe I was more suited to this than I realized.

You walk through the pine and fir tree forest, looking around for some prey for you and your brother. Something rustles in the branches of a nearby tree, and a dead, freshly killed bird drops in front of you.
"Lauren, right? I've been waiting for you" a tom cat says as he sits on top of a branch.

"Well, there's actually a lot of cats in the area, you'll have to meet them and convince them, and then they can bring more cats through their own connections" Goldenstar reassures you, smiling as she looked back to you.
"Now come on, if we leave now, we can reach starlake before sundown" She says.
