I kept staring at him as my eyes grew wider as I moved my hands around trying to say something that I'm not even sure I understood myself.

I faltered a little but caught back up quickly. "Right." The light hurt my eyes as we got out of the ship. Stupid Galra and their light sensitive eyes, why couldn't they just use a normal amount of light in their halls? What were they, human vampires?

I tsked internally as my eyes got used to the daylight.
