Kua-Rashianaka

"What did you do? I hope it isn't the green ball of gas. If I could light him up right now..." She sighed. "Groan once, if you can, if this was your own doing."

"Perfect." The figure mutters, figuring that you are already gone. "My plan has worked. My little army will rise once more." The figure puts back their hood, revealing a white skull. The spell is broken. Sparky instantly leaps to his feet, launching himself at the figure with a silent snarl. He knocks into the figure, knocking the white skull off.
Behind the white skull is a monster's face.
The figure had been a Wendigo.
The Wendigo shoves Sparky off, who skids a few feet back, and raises a hand, paw glowing in a powerful way. The Wendigo turns to you, keeping both you and Sparky at bay by silently threatening you with their glowing paws. "You will submit. I will not turn you into Gargoyle's only if you submit. I am Feadaow, the being that helps run this Labyrinth. My master will rule everyone inside and then start taking over the world outside. You will not stop us."

Nikkie growls softly again, curling into a tight ball after shifting into a kitsune. He seems to gain some strength during this transformation. "I'm fine. Just... drained." The kitsune mutters before falling silent. A moment later, soft purrs came from him as his chest rises and falls in the rhythm of one who is sleeping.

I pretend to submit. What he can't see is that my left hand is blazing and my right is gripping a knife behind my back. When the Wendigo's back turns, I will throw the knife and set him on fire before running as fast as I can away.

"As long as you aren't dead..." she muttered softly. She fell into a trance of her own, and fell asleep.

The Wendigo had retrieved their skull. They curse under their breath, bounding after you, the dagger going wide and the flames not seeming to bother him.

Sparky takes to the sky, tackling the Wendigo to slow him down before quickly sprinting after you. The opening is still there. Once you get out of the stone city, Sparky turns to the runes and places his hands on two different runes, shutting the opening. There is a cry of anger from behind the wall.

You sleep for who knows how long, waking up to a splash of water to your face.
"Mornin' sunshine. We've survived day one." Nikkie notes, putting down his canteen, now void of water. He looks super excited. "Come on. I have something to show you." So while you had been sleeping, Nikkie must have gone exploring.
He takes your hand and drags you a few turns and twists away, keeping his canteen with him. Soon, you reach a small stream. "I tested it for any sign of poison or life forms, and it is actually clean water." He says, filling up his canteen again.

"Amazing. In a magic labyrinth, water still can get in." She smiled wide. "I almost can't believe it."

"Holy Styx that was scary, Sparky. Are you ok?" I comment while we catch our breath.

"You know what that means, right? If water can get in, it means we can get out." Nikkie says, getting a little bit giddy.
There was a small snort from the opposite side of the tiny stream. Nikkie looks across to find a small innocent looking hamster on the other bank. It seemed to be waiting for the bigger folk - you and Nikkie - to leave before taking a drink itself.
"I don't know what that is," Nikkie says, motioning to the hamster. "But another one had been with this little fella the first time I came here. I haven't approached them yet. These guys are kind of adorable." He admits.
