He trusts us, quite a bit. She hates being picked up like that, she much prefers a perch, but we can't cut her nails that way.
(And no, I don't know my bird's gender so don't get confused if I call her a he or a she)

Did you wrap her in a towel when you did it or did you just kind of hold her with your hands? Our birds usually calm down if we put something over their eyes as well.

Ah. Yeah, we used a towel to pick her up and had someone stroke her and talk to her while we did it because she liked that lol.

Penami's not-at-all frequent update
So I can speak a bit of Swedish. I'm learning in Duolingo. It's actually really fun. Jag lskar Svenska (I probably said that wrong). I started learning it for the best possible reason - because I wanted to understand the swedish parts in Roomie's and PewDiePie's videos. Yes, applause for me. I also think it's a really cool language. I can say over 150 words (although it's truly painful to list them all, since you have special characters like and that I either have to copy and paste or replace with normal lettering, which ruins the word.) The strangest word I've found so far is turtle, which is skldpadda, but it's pronounced 'Hoowellpaddah'. Yeah, as if that makes sense. If you add 'n' or 'en' into the end of anything it makes it 'the ___' instead of just '___'. It's like condensed English in another language. I also speak fluently in Pig Latin. I'm curious if anyone else here can speak/is learning to speak another language.
I think my bird has gone crazy. She shouts almost 24/7 and is so annoying. In order to make her shut up we need to get her on a perch and make her fly around the room a few times. She usually goes to sleep for a few minutes before waking up again and yelling. She'll also trick us. She'll put her head down for us to pat her, and when we do, she'll snap up and bite us. I've been begging my parents to get another one, because it's the best way to make her be quiet, but they're so against it. Any other suggestions?
Okay, now a little bit of a question. Do you have any youtubers you like watching, and obviously because we know each other in extensive detail, any that you think I'd like watching? I already watch Lazarbeam, Boyinaband, Roomie and PewDiePie, but Boyinaband has given up on uploading for now, Roomie is amazing, but he uploads only once daily, Lazarbeam uplaods meme content every two days (I think) and Pewdiepie is the only other one I watch and he also uploads daily. So that's only 7 videos every second day. It's not enough, specially with this whole THING happening. I seriously need some suggestions. Aheh.
So how've you all been?

Used a towel, but I didn't cover her eyes. We did try to pat her but she just hated us holding her like that and we didn't want out fingers bitten off. She's not due for a nail clipping anyway. She was due for a wing clipping (despite me telling everyone it would make her louder and less active, although let's not listen to the only person who's done their research on birds, hm?) but because of this thing, the place closed. And we'd much rather clip her nails than wings, because that can cause SERIOUS damage if not done by someone who knows what they're doing.

I'm partail to Ryukhar, The Basement, and Failboat myself in terms of gaming channels. The guys over at Game/Film Theroy are fun as well, and Man on the Internet has the best lyrical covers for video soundtracks. I think he just finished a Paper Mario album?
Also, Don't forget your Spanish lesson, or you know what happens.

We did that for our old cockatiel but we have to keep the towel over the head of our severe macaw or else one of us would be missing a part of our finger

Ah, that explains the problem you had. They hate being flipped over, we trained her to be used to being flipped over at some point so she still didn't like it but she didn't freak out.
I mean, really depends on why. I'm pretty sure don't really need wing clipping unless you think they're going to fly away lol. I never did it to either of my 'keets.
I mean, yeah... obviously. Kinda dangerous. What does that have to do with it?
