Lol quick funny story.

My mother is foreign and sometimes doesn't pronounce english words correctly (she didn't know the difference between *on* and *in* until a few months ago, although shes been in the US for years). So I'm used to correcting things for her, the other day she was talking about Reuben sandwiches. I have an OC I rp with, and my rp partner complains alot that his name autocorrects to Reuben. So the other day she said Reuben wrong and reflexively I said "Reuvan". (the name of my 'sandwich' OC boyo)

...
...
...

"Reuben, Reuben, sorry."

ALSO

I've been on a big MHA, or BNHA, aka My Hero Academia, kick lately. AND I just thought.....you know how like, its set in Japan? WELL. What if our superheros, Marvel superheros and DC heros, like Wolverine, or Spiderman, were the heros of America??? Like, on the otherside of the world our heros of the real world are still the heros in the BNHA world?

Huh? Huh? Yeahhhhh Spiderman is realllll. He has a quirk kinda like Sero and Tsu huh? xD Spider-like, but can shoot stuff out of his wrists...Or well he could just have the heightened senses as a quirk and the rest could be support items??? *hnnnnnn cue fanboying*

*le gasp* Deadpool has the most OP quirk. Yes. That is a mini shoutout to the fanfic Regenerate, Fate.

Hey hey, my mom mixes up 'close' with 'turn off', mixes up pronouns a lot, and says 'drawf' instead of 'dwarf'.
This is how my brother and I helpfully taught her how to say it right:
"Dw are farmers!"

Hi guys ^-^

I'll just put a quick little update about how I've been because I really want to talk about something else. I had a zoom meeting with a few classmates and three teachers and it was really awkward. I've been doing well but I'm absolutely freezing all the time. I went for a walk today and that was awful because my family has been getting on my nerves and my dog kept stopping in front of me. My bird, Indy, has picked up 'bye guy' from our other bird Phoenix. I was really excited when he said it :D
My cat Sunny also followed us on our walk all the way down to river and back to the house. She's supposed to stay in our barn
I also made two loafs of banana bread with extra cinnamon and they're already gone. I made them on Saturday and they weren't gluten free so that means my dad and sister ate them all >:/

Anyways, I know tons of people on here are writing a book and I love that because yay writing! I personally hate writing dialogue and thought it would be cool to write a journal type thing from the view point of either a girl or boy in the 1860s during the time of the Homestead Act of 1862 or around the time of the Oregon trail.
I don't really know yet but the idea woke me up last night so might as well do something with it.
Also the way they lived, dressed, got around, made their own things, and cooked is just really fascinating to me. The way of life back then seems like it'd be really nice, despite all the bad things like trying to have as many kids as possible because it was common for them to die young.
Yeah so any thoughts on this?

Aha, I, uh, am not totally good at realistic fiction, especially set back in time. Hmm, what do you need help with? Are you thinking of like an actual plot or just day to day progressing in the main character's life?
