I trot over and bark out a greeting letting everyone know i was back.

I make sure to speak loud enough that Mimosa can hear "This is Zelix he's gonna be a part of the pack." I decide not to tell his story that is for him to tell when he's ready "I'll be keeping an eye on him for the first few weeks just to make sure but my instincts tell me to trust him and he seems nice." I can't help but think if perhaps he was a hard worker i cold fix the alpha male problem. but i decide to think about this later there are more pressing matters. What will happen will happen.

I narrow my eyes "We've already had this conversation Oktavian, You are training Mimosa and acting as beta until she's ready, after that she takes over. you might be stronger and older but you should never underestimate youth, and it isn't all about strength." I add holding my ground and stand taller, if I was to stay alpha I'd have to defend my decisions.
