This Aeridini is based off of yellow Tiger Swallowtail butterflies, so she is mostly yellow and black with a touch of blue and red markings.Here's the butterfly for fun, my aeridini is a really loose interpretation of this one, I've seen others a little more vibrant, or so my memory says.
Anyway, here's the pretty girl with Uromastyx, Perennial Tail, and Tiger Sparrow wings:

This is my Nebula Morning Glory Aeridini. I based her off of two things, nebulas and the Morning Glory flower, which I grow at my house every year~

I know it's pretty simple, but it's based off of my favorite flower in the world, the peony. I like both white and pink ones, so I picked somewhere in between.

I wanted something inspired by flowers, and because I love the flower mutations, I went with roses. Spring is the time for love, after all :)

I based her on flowers and water because they signify spring. The flowers because they let us know winter is over and the water because it nurtures the earth in the spring. Her coloring is based on the water while the mystical flowers, lily tail, and the floral henna is based on the flowers. The name is Water Flora.

Ok.. mine is based off of the first flower in spring (it happens to be dandylions here, but there is no dandylion tail, so a yellow rose instead), along with the brilliant blue sky(it seems so much brighter in spring), and the fresh grass. The pale yellow reflects the warm sun, still melting snow, the bark of the silver birch, and the cream of the flowers' centers. The dark green is for all the pine trees up here in Alaska, and the bright green for the fresh grass.

Despite it being spring, we're going through a pretty horrible drought over here, so when it began to rain for the first time in what seems like forever, we were pleasantly surprised, and myself even more so when there was a hint of a rainbow. So, this Aeridini is a homage to that slight shower and rainbow and hopefully there will be more rain to come.
